quickie for me have a presentation here ina few min to executives so freaking a bit.
I made a mussels fish stew yesterday with fermented cabbage, spinch, green beans, and mussels and soy protein pasta. Yep up 3 pounds overnight sheesh, so annoying and i have 2 more servings at least in fridge. I'm going to eat them both and up my liquids to compensate for the salt bomb. it was sooo good though! I grilled 2 pieces of tilapia for today since I was out of mussels. Also- soy pasta while it isnt terrible does something interesting to my insides. like makes them unhappy. anyway keeping on with it because it was yummy!!
QOTD: I can't think of anything or anyone situation. I am guilty of looking at my fiends pics on FB and saying wow they have many more wrinkles than me though..

Good morning JB and gang. I hope everyone is having a great day. I am slowly making progress on resetting back to a low carb mindset. Yesterday was better than Sunday, and today will be better than yesterday. I have a full plan today and I'm determined to get back on track. I'm not perfect, but I'm starting to get there.
Bugsy had a vet appointment yesterday and he's scheduled for neutering on May 5th. My poor baby is going to have his huevos removed on Cinco de Mayo. Other than that, nothing fancy or exciting happened yesterday. I'm just plugging along.
JBQOTD: My cousin, who is 3 months younger than I am, is a grandma to a almost 2 year old. She was a young mother, though her oldest waited until she was in her mid-20's to have her first. It still kinda blows my mind, since my youngest is only 3.5 years old. I have to remind myself that I had him at 40, at the very tail end of my childbearing years. I will admit that I'm feeling like I've aged a lot in the last few years. I asked a coworker the other day if I looked 44, and her response was too quick when she said "NO!" lol. I always said, when I was obese, was the key to looking younger was to carry an extra 100lbs. The fat plumps up the wrinkles. Now, I'm thinking it was much less a joke than I thought it was.

Not so much a specific person who looks older or younger than me, but I am baffled that I'm in my mid-30's because in my head this is how old my parents are. This is the age my parents were when I started having regular everyday memories of life, so they will be perpetually in their mid-30's to me. In actuality, my father is 57!
I'm sore today after my work out last night. It was a struggle washing my hair this morning!
