Good morning! I can't believe that I have been up since 5 on a Saturday, but here I am. I was so wiped out from packing yesterday so went to bed at 8. I slept so hard, but once I'm awake, that's it. Today is the big move and hope it goes smoothly. I can't wait to get mom and dad settled in their new place and for my parents anxiety to subside. They have moved a lot in their lifetime, but this move considering their health has been a scary one for them. I can't wait until its over. Looking forward to relaxing Sunday.
QOTD - I am most proud of my son. I was a single mom, I struggled and did the very best I could with what I had. It was not easy but we always had a great time. I managed to raise a wonderful human being. He is a wonderful, smart, loving, strong young man and has the biggest heart of anyone I know.
5 months since surgery
b-coffee w/ heavy cream and splenda
b2- scrambled egg, Starbucks
l-pizza will be ordered after move... I may eat toppings or for fear of a slippery slope and lack measurable quantity I will probably just eat jerky/meat stick
d- hot Italian sausage
Have a great day all!!

Good morning guys!
Have a good weekend on the farm Erin, the countdown is on but it looks like you're ready.
First week of work is done and thankfully it seems to have gone well. I had a lot of anxiety about starting over with a new company and being the new person in a group of people that already know each other, but in some ways it already feels like I've been there longer.
QOTD Given the timing of the question I'm going to say that I'm proud of the way I handled myself in my first week of work. I work in a male dominated industry and I was brought into a leadership role that they technically don't have the capacity for at the moment but they felt that my experience would help them develop a system they are hoping to implement. Understandably the existing Foreman would get their backs up and question if their jobs were being threatened but I think I was able to show them that I'm there to work with them and we're off to a good start. There's a learning curve for sure but I think I'll do well there and I'm excited to see how things go.
My menu is a challenge today because we have yet to determine our plans. I've had my coffee and we'll be doing some running around so I'll bring some chicken for that but dinner is out tonight with my family and we've yet to determine a location. I'm thinking I'll look for some shrimp wherever we end up.
Have a great weekend everyone!!
