cheers to the weekend!

Having my coffee, then loading up the car to head out of the city. I'm bringing platters and crates and lanterns etc for next weekend. I have a whole section of the basement stacked with things from our wedding and bakery, and other events. I like to pretend it's a Martha Stewart prop department, hahaha

qotd: I want to hear some bragging! Doesn't have to be wls related. Anything you're proud of!

Im proud that I've transitioned into my job well. I was nervous about going back to work. I was able to give my weight loss 100% attention. But I'm still eating on plan. And I think considering the strange cir****tances I found myself in, I'm doing great at piecing things together. Now I'm training new staff, and barring something unforeseen, I'm pretty pumped about the coming year.

Menu:

B: premiere protein shake

L/D : tbd on what's planned on the farm. But protein forward as always!

have a good one!

Good morning! I hope you have a great time at the shower today! I know you have worked so hard to make everything perfect :)

I met up with a group of old friends last night and we hung out and drank wine all night. I slept over and of course woke up 4 hours before my host, so I have read the entire internet and watched the news, already. Ugh, I'm so bored. This is why I don't like staying away from home!

I am feeling sort of down on myself right now, and totally not sure how to answer your QOTD. I just don't feel like I have anything all the way right, these days. Work is going fine, but noting to brag about. Plus, I am not doing anything interesting or creative lately... :( Worst of all, is that I have been allowing myself to get off track with food, and having more and more BLTs (Bites, Licks and Tastes). Those can really add up quickly and throw off a menu plan. Trying to buckle down today.

B: Coffee & breakfast out. I will choose eggs!

L: Quest Bar

S: 2 oz Chicken

D: Pizza Veggie Burger with cheese and pepperoni

S: Tea

Julia, you have done an awesome job renovating the school! You can be very proud of that as well as all the wonderful work you do for the kids!

I agree with Karen: You should be proud of that school renovation! Being overtired is not conducive to feeling positive (I always have a hard time sleeping at other people's houses too, btw).

JB, you have alot on your plate right now and it makes sense that you aren't your usual positive self. Take a deep breath and remember that you accomplish alot every day. AND as others have said, the school looks great!

Along with all the above comments which I agree with, how about all you do every day to help us newbies. There are many successful WLS people out there that don't stay here to help. Also hearing of your struggles helps us all realize whats to come when we are out of the miracle phase. You've certainly helped many a newbie be successful.

Sorry jb. We all get the blues like that. I have not been active like I was before and I'm letting that get to me. Plus a lot of just going on at the same time it can be overwhelming.

Hey you! Just this week you posted that amazing renovation!

We are hard on ourselves.... This week during personal training as I rambled on about gaining weight and 'trying' to maintain, which I have never done before.......blah, blah, blah ... I had that 26 year old personal trainer look me squarely in the eye like 3 times and say- You are not 'trying' to maintain...you are maintaining. It is normal to fluctuate.

So I am looking at you saying "Don't be hard on yourself" and then I am saying it back to myself...
