Yes, I live in Falmouth which has beaches on the south and west side. This beach is on the west side.

I wish Lily and I could come walk with you. What a beautiful view for sure. I have discovered in our travels that I'm a water person and feel so peaceful and relaxed near water. And yet I live in the middle of a corn field. Somethings wrong here!

Me too! I always feel better near the water and DH is calmed by it too.

Edited to add that the dogs love the beach as well of course!

I've only been in Falmouth Jamaica. It took me a minute to figure out where that Caribbean blue water went.

Good morning. My car I love her. I named her Grace. It's a Jeep Wrangler. I feel so free and happy when I drive her. I am hoping to pop the top today.

It's not the fanciest cars. It runs rough and bouncy but I am really happy that I have her.

Food wise today is going to be back to mostly proteins. I have fallen off the wagon and carbs entered my life again. There is no place for them in my life. Since I am a food addict.

Enjoy the day. Stay warm.

Ok today's pics are of the baby chix.

They are growing Sooooo fast. The older ones will be ready for their outside run and cook probably next weekend. Food was ok yesterday. I did try a new recipe which is basically pizza toppings on top of romain lettuce as a 'crust'. it was quite yummy. DH got a challah bread version with ham and cheese and sauce etc. I also ate a russell stover coconut marshmallow egg but I documented it and was so low throughout day on carbs that I came in under calories for the day- yay

This is day 3 of the natural supplements. I haven't noticed much of a difference except my stomach sounds like there is an alien baby in there trying to get out, and I do feel better. I'm officially off all prescription meds (protonix and stomach cramping med). thank the good lord, I've been waiting on this day since 3 months out since i started having acid reflux etc.

QOTD: this is a loaded question since there are 4 (WHELP!) cars for the 2 of us and I work from home all week... yes, it's an issue. We have 2 2013 VW jetta's one a sedan and one a wagon. Then my husband has a ford 150 truck that he has fixed up (it's a 1990). While we were camping a few weeks ago the engine decided to blow while we were towing the camper, so we bought a newer (not new) truck. So the older truck is getting a new engine, and now we have 3 white vehicles and 1 black one. This is not idea so we have both cars and the one truck on cars.com and other sites trying to sell whichever we can. Ultimately, we will hope to sell both cars and get an older but not too old prius. We may end up then with 2 trucks and a car. Really would just prefer one of each.

16 months post op / 122lbs today / maintenance diet

Food for today: gizzards, coffee/miralax, mushrooms, brussells sprouts, lettuce/romaine from garden, ham maybe and I'm not sure about dinner. DH probably won't be home and will get something while he is out and so i will probably fend for myself. Really want to go to my fav thrift store today and check out $1 racks and I'm out of magnesium so will go to $2 overstock store.
