Later post for me today. DH came home with 2 more chickens yesterday, 1 week old. A golden comet and a gold laced wyandotte. yes, now we have 12. The 5 older ones though will go into the coop/run outside here in 2 weeks and provide some more space for the other littles.

I ran after my counselor appt to kroger to get eggs, gizzards, cadbury eggs, and other discounted easter candy for the freezer for DH. I did talk to my counselor about my digestion issues (RE: POOP/constipation) and she checked me any put me on 4 holistic medicines: one for pro/prebiotics, one for people with missing gallbladder, and two more. I'm hoping I can go off the miralax but let's see if it helps the issue.

Last night I made chicken wings and veggies for me/french fried for DH. I cooked them in IP then finished them in the nuwave oven on broil essentially. Worked really well had not used the nuwave before last night.

QOTD: I learned I was fat from age 5. The kids in kindergarden (the older ones) started calling me cabbage patch kid. I went home and told mom and she told me they were making fun of me. Her parents (my grandparents) were very outspoken very early on about my weight and I was in weigh****chers by 2nd grade and they were 'paying' me to lose weight. Yes, these are all therapy topics. In my eyes, I was never good enough, no matter how successful or smart or whatever.

16 months post op / 123 today / maintenance diet

Food for today: gizzards, green veggies, dinner I think I will make this pizza that is really a romaine base with pizza toppings on it. Found recipe in magazine and was hoping to try it out. Might make a flatbread pizza for DH. It will have ham and cheese on it with sauce and romaine from the garden- yippee! I don't have pepperoni so that is a bummer because DH really likes pepperoni on his pizza. I could 'harvest' some from a frozen pizza in freezer (that he doesn't like) and use that. It's very cutthroat kitchen of me - lol

Good morning JB and gang. Today is my 44th birthday and I am determined to make it a good day. So far I've been super busy, and work doesn't seem to be letting up at all. This morning I needed to take my hubby to the lab for fasting blood work, so I left my house at 6:30 and took him to the lab, then I dropped my kiddo off at my mom's for the day and I drove hubby back home. Then I left for work and got here at 9am, lol. 2.5 hours for my commute today.

I have balloons and a card here on my desk from my coworkers, it's very nice of them. I didn't pack a lunch today because I knew they'd be bringing in treats, which is a meat and cheese tray instead of cake.

JBQOTD: I don't think I was really aware of weight until I was in my tweens. I didn't put on any significant weight until I was about 12 or so, I remember I weight 110 pounds in the 6th grade. When I was 14, my weight ballooned briefly after my father went to prison for sexually abusing me, but pictures from when I was 15 show me thin again. I switched from food to being promiscuous as a teenager, so stayed an=t an average weight, though I always thought I was fat. I didn't really start putting on significant weight until I was in my early 20s. I moved to Texas in 1995 at about 140 pounds and came back at 180 pounds 6 months later. I met my first husband and by the time I got married I was wearing a size 20. After having my oldest son at 26 my weight just kept going up. But, I digress. As a kid, it was never really an issue for me.

20 months since surgery

B: Better Oats 100 calorie Oatmeal, apples and cinnamon. Coffee with SF coffeemate

L: Meat and cheese?

D: Puiled pork

S: more meat and cheese? LOL

No totals yet, not quite sure what I'll be having today, but I'll be sure to log it all

Have a great day everyone!
