I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep so figured I would get up and read and post this morning. Hoping I can go back to bed and get a nap before I have to get up at 3:30 this afternoon.
QOTD: One of my favorite commercials is seasonal. I like the Santa Claus with the M and M's commercial..." they really are real" etc.

Good morning everyone!
Day 3 of the new job. So far so good but there's a lot to get used to and I leave the house at 5:30 so posting might be challenging but I have to keep it up. I'll give myself a bit of slack for a week or two but I know I have to stay on top of everything. The past few days were all the proof I needed that my new habits aren't entrenched yet. I ate on plan but not enough and I wasn't on top of my vitamins or liquids.
QOTD If I watch TV it's usually Netflix so I'm out of the loop on commercials.
4+ months post op
B- coffee w/premier chocolate
L- chicken breast and guacamole
D- something on the BBQ I'm sure, he said he's on it....
S- coffee w/ premier
However you choose to celebtate have a great hump day!

Glad the new job is going well. The next few weeks are really going to set you up for new good habits and routines so do whatever you can to get a good start! I used to set alarms on my phone to go off to remind me about vitamins and water and even eating, in those first few months just to make sure I wasn't missing anything when I got busy at work and life!

Thanks for that, I kept saying that I just needed to give myself time to get into a routine but reading "new good habits" somehow changed the whole thing in my brain. I was cutting myself too much slack, I have to make an effort to establish my new normal/habits/routine starting tomorrow and not just piece it together as I go. Don't let bad habits in while you're "getting into a routine" and then try and change them, just figure it out now.
