When is surgery? Recovery time?

I'm proud of you for not turning to the cigs!! That in and of itself is a huge accomplishment!!!!

Right? I do think this smoke free thing seems to be 'sticking' this time. I am grateful for that. Wednesday is surgery, recovery is one week out of work...several of lifting restrictions.

Almost afternoon to all of you!!

Yesterday was better... but not great. Still struggling, but I think that now I've eaten the SF Russel Stover dark chocolate turtles that melted in my car and my son sat on so they were flat as a pancake, and somewhere in my muddled mind I decided since they were smushed all up, I needed to eat both? So... I ate 2 of those, and then about 4-5 pieces of the Sugar Free Twizzlers before lunch yesterday. The bad part? That really messed up my stomach, and the entire time I was having this YAG eye surgery, my intestines were telling the entire story, quite vocally, to my eye doctor... THANK GAWD it wasn't until I got home that it truly got ugly! The GOOD part? My stomach/intestines were so angry with me all last night, that I didn't snack after dinner!

Sigh...

Here's to a better day today!

So, my menu was on point yesterday, with the aforementioned exception...

TODAY! Weight this morning... 147.7

B: 1 egg and 3 pieces of bacon (I didn't finish the egg, but our cafe's idea of 1 egg, and my idea of 1 egg are hardly on the same plane.

L: Frozen chicken alfredo and spaghetti squash 3 ounces

D: Didn't take something out, and I have a nagging suspicion that I have something I Need to do tonight... Sigh again... Might be a ham deli meat and cheese kind of night.

S: Latte if I am indeed home! Made with 2ounces of Fairlife and SF syrup

Oh, have I mentioned that my daughter has decided THIS MORNING that she's going to her Junior Prom THIS WEEKEND???!!! OR... that my son has been invited - as a Freshman - to go with a female friend... and I have NO IDEA what either one of them are wearing??! Oy vey! My children are definitely products of their mother's unorganized life... Sigh.

Oops... QOTD...

I want to be someone very rich, on a secluded island, with a butler there to cater to my every need while I sit in the sun and sip on something fruity and alcoholic... I may or may not get up out of the chair and explore the beach...

Oh Easter candy! I don't even like candy and I ate a jelly bean!

QOTD - I don't have a good answer for this, but it would be someone fit and strong, and they would be involved in something very intellectual and impactful (if that's really a word). Maybe an explorer up in the Andes, or a Doctors without Boarders volunteer who is working in a remote area?
