What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?t
Yup! I bake it in a 13x9 dish, eat off of it for a few days then freeze it individual portions. Just roast the spaghetti squash, use a fork to pull it and lay on bottom of the dish, put on some Alfredo sauce, diced or shredded chicken and mozz cheese.... bake it at around 375 for 1/2 hour or until everything is all melty and yummy. Super easy!
Good morning JB and gang. I've been trying to get on and post for the last few days and just am crazy busy at work. I've actually typed up a few replies, half way, and then haven't been able to post them because things get crazy at work and I get sidetracked. We'll see if this one actually gets posted or not. I've been popping on and reading here and there when I get a chance, but haven't had time to post anything. I've even uploaded a photo with the intention of posting it, but yeah...
I'm struggling with my menu, Easter candy sucks big balls. I have no desire to eat the chocolate, but I have had jelly beans. This has sent me into a spiral of carb binge. Like Mac and Cheese and Naan bread. Yesterday I ate so much food, ridiculous. I have been running crazy and not packing my food. So today, I made a point to pack breakfast and lunch. Time to reset. Luckily, my weight is holding steady at 162, but that won't last long if I keep on going like I have been. I will say that I've been very active, trying to walk and get outside. The weather here as been so freaking incredible, we spent most of the weekend outside, and I took my puppy, Bugsy, for walks both Saturday and Sunday (2 walks on Sunday). The only problem is that while he walks fast, he gets distracted and stops often to sniff or pee on things, so we don't get very far, lol. I have a 5k coming up on Mother's day and I want to actually get more than a mile in at one time. Seems like I'm going to have to leave the pup at home occassionally.
JBQOTD: I don't know if I'd actually want to be someone else for a day. Surprisingly, I really like who I am, lol. I've been wracking my brain on this question off and on for the last few hours and I got nothing, lol.

QOTD I can't really think of anyone I'd like to be for a day. My life seems pretty great to me right now. Lily and I got our 3.2 miles in this morning even though I had a splitting headache and exercise was the last thing I wanted to do. Took some Tylenol and did it anyway. Go Me! Yesterday my self control held and I ate nothing not on my menu. The crackers called my name but I didn't listen. Post op 4 years 71/2 months and weight at 117.6 today. Here's the food for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 1/2 c crab salad 3 ounces turkey deli meat D 31/2 oz baked skinless chicken thigh 2 small stuffed mushrooms S mission one chocolate brownie protein bar. Have a great day everyone and make some smart and conscious choices that move you one step closer to your goals!
