Your stats are awesome and it looks like enough food for me. I might copy your menu some time this week :)
I am struggling to keep protein high with calories low and stay satisfied, lately...
If I get in 4-5 oz of protein I'm good for along time but I'm only 6-7 mos out so I probably am not as hungry as often as I will be!

Hi everyone,
As many of you know, I thought I broke my toe the other day but I realized that I had a serious gout attack! I've never had one before. After searching it out I realized that it's not all that uncommon for people who have had WLS and it usually hits at 6 to 12 months out. I've heard how painful it can be but WOW! I think only slept 3 hours in 3 days! I am still using a walker to get around. Today is the 1st day that I can wiggle my toe a little. My foot and lower leg are so swollen that I could even get my foot into my sneaker. I've gained 5lbs in 3 days! I can't wait until my starts getting rid of this extra fluid! I really hope this clears up soon. I'm using all the natural remedies because I do not want to take anymore meds. I will contact my PCP if it's not getting better.
QOTD: The older I get the worse I sleep but listening to relaxation music and have my fan on really helps.

Are you taking calcium carbonate for your calcium?
Do you have any history of kidney problems? Heart problems?
Gout sucks. I had it for years before I got a new kidney. I would encourage you to go to your PCP. You want treatment and then treatment you can start as soon as the symptoms start. I use to go from fine to unable to bear weight in 6 hours.
Good luck
I'm not taking calcium carbonate. I do have a history of heart disease and kidney issues.
It is getting much better today which is good cause I have a business meeting to attend that is a fairly long walk. I'm sure I'll be in agony but at least I can walk today. I will be going to my PCP to set up a treatment plan.
