We had a nice Easter weekend. I had some good quality time with the kids and ate so bad! My whole weekend consisted of too many bad foods like popcorn, oatmeal cookies and some bites of macaroni & cheese with my ham for Easter lunch and very little fluids. Today I am a swollen mess and 2 lbs up!

QOTD: I never have problems sleeping. Maybe like once ever year or two. I will watch some TV until I get tired again but I don't worry about it because it rarely happens.

B - coffee with cream & miralax, fairlife fat free milk

L1 - Buffalo chicken salad

L2 - baked fish

D - chicken wings

S - cheese & lunch meat

Happy Monday everyone. I had a wonderful peaceful weekend. The oldest two kids surprised me and showed up at the door on Sunday. I live a little over an hour away from the city where they live so this was a long drive and effort for them. It was probably the first grown up 'go visit Mom' type thing they have even done. It was delightful! My Guy ran out to the store and bought bean-less chili makings and we had a last minute dinner with four of my kiddos there! I don't celebrate Easter per se but it was a blessed day!

I go to the surgeon's appointment today at 3 so I am hoping he says 'wait and see' instead of 'let's dig around in there and fix it' for the internal hernia. I will be ok either way but I am sure tired of surgery and recovery. The abdominal pain has not subsided at all with the ulcer medication though so I am not going to be shocked if he wants to poke in there and see.

QOTD: Sleep...perchance to dream. Insomnia has been an issue for me off and on since surgery. I haven't figured anything out really. Will be reading for everyone's suggestions.

Menu: B: Greek yogurt and granola; L: Freezer treat (last meaty ricotta bake); D: On the go...D&D game has officially moved to Monday evenings so Mondays will be weird until I get into that groove); S: Apple; ES: Popcorn

Accountability: Smoke free and weight is stable at 127.

Have a great day everyone!

I'll be thinking about you this afternoon! Hope it goes whichever way makes you feel better in the long run (pokes around or not!)

Your kids were awesome for showing up like that!!! Kudos to them! Mine were with their dad, and I wore Riley out working on the chicken coop all day Friday and Saturday, then doing the 5K, so we skipped out on the family gathering this year... he slept till noon, and I went out and painted the chicken coop! Today, I'm sore! My glut muscles are killing me! Running/walking and squatting while painting all added up today!

Smoke Free!!! Yay!!!!!

I love your Boston marathon tradition!

I was a night nurse. I learned to sleep through any noise. I retired 5 years ago. I've been working on going to bed earlier. I've had a lot of success recently. I hope you find the solution. Michelle has on black screen youtube with some kind of noise. I'm too deaf to hear it.

I am eating Easter leftovers. There is no candy. I bought my son a Fran's chocolate bunny. No big bags leftovers.

There will be ham and yogurt.

Good morning! Rain, again. I'm so over it! My weekend was very nice, helped my parents pack on Saturday. Easter at my sisters with the family on Sunday with many who had not seen me since I've lost 80 pounds. It was very uncomfortable receiving praise, I wanted to disappear. I didn't know how to act. There is this woman at work who keeps saying how skinny I look and I wish she would stop. I have to think of something to say to her.

I was supposed to be headed to San Diego with BF this morning for a few days but his Tuesday hearing turned into a trial that could go over to Wednesday and I can't take more time off this week. I'm already off on Friday to help finish packing my parents for their move on Saturday. It's just too much. So bummed.

QOTD - No matter how tired I am, I have the TV on when I go to bed. I started this years ago when I had a very stressful job that used to give me work nightmares. The TV keeps me from 'thinking' about things that will keep me up. I usually fall asleep in 5 or 10 minutes. If I wake up and can't get back to sleep I will watch TV again. It's usually reruns like King of Queens, Frasier or some other fluff.
