Good morning all -
Working again today. The scale was finally nice and moved down 1.2 pounds this morning. I ate 100 more calories yesterday than I have been eating, don't know if that had anything to do with it or not, but I am doing it again to day and we will see how it goes.
QOTD: I would have to play in order to win....but a girl can dream. I would definitely pay off all of my debt - not that it is too much. Then I would buy a nice house in the town that I work in so I didn't have to drive 40 minutes to work and back. Yes I would still work, I don't know if I could stop working, after being off for surgery I was ready to go back to work. I would retire early and travel a lot. I would pay off my brothers and sisters houses and pay for college for all of my nieces and my nephew. Then I would find good charities to help (animal shelters definitely). I would also buy my dad a vacation house wherever he wanted one. I too hope this hypothetical lotto is huge - I would need it to accomplish all of this.
Menu:
B - protein shake
L - chili cheese egg bake
D - 3 oz. Salmon
S - triple zero Greek yogurt
S - ranch tuna pouch
Calories - 631, Protein - 96, Carbs - 25
Have a Happy Easter everyone!!

my yoga studio is continuing its grand re-opening today, so free classes all day! (I went to two yesterday morning before heading out of town). I signed up for three classes today. Yesterday they also had free food there (veggies & dip, fruit & dip - i.e., healthy stuff), so I'll have some of that as a snack if they have it again today.
No Easter festivities. We're not church people and not very religious, but usually my mom or sister hosts a family dinner on Easter, but nothing planned for this year.
QOTD: I'd probably go ahead and retire as I was originally planning to before my DH lost his job last summer (most importantly, we need the health insurance). I'd also buy a winter condo in a warm place and be a "snowbird". I'd also travel a lot - so many places I'd love to see!

Hi all
yesterday we got our baby chix! 10 total and so excited. They are 1 and 3 weeks and are already starting to eat out of my hand.
Weight 123 today and not happy about it. I will be making ham and side dishes for lunch today. Will do the best I can and tons of liquids.
qotd: buy more land, also a lot near beach and build a tiny house bit not too tiny. Today I will relax I've already made yogurt and gizzards last night.
food today; coffee, gizzards, yogurt, coffee, tea, ham, salad, okra, Brussels sprouts not sure what else.
Morning folks!
It's a beautiful morning here and I just came back from a long walk around our hilly neighborhood. I am just shy of 7 weeks post-op and I started out just walking on the treadmill very slow. Then I moved up to walks in parks and neighborhoods that were very flat. Starting Friday I took the challenge to begin walking in our neighborhood that is just one hill after another. Yesterday, I did two loops of our neighborhood and today I joined our neighborhood loop to a park loop for one 3.6 mile challenge. I continue to surprise myself on how my body is meeting the challenges that I take with my walking.
One Tuesday I start deep water aerobics classes again. I am totally excited. Also I have decided to try a yoga class that is held over lunchtime at work on Thursdays. I'm not sure whether yoga will be my thing or not. I'm pretty uncoordinated, but I want to give it a try just for variety.
QOTD: I'm not a lottery player, so this is purely theoretical, but I would like to do some traveling for one thing. I'd love to take early retirement from work and find some type of work that is less stressful and more enjoyable.
Breakfast: egg beaters with low fat cheese
Snack: Apple Ecstasy protein shake
Lunch: Salmon burger
Snack: Greek yogurt with SF raspberry jam
Dinner: hamburger with zoodles
Exercise: long walk

Good Morning and Happy Easter!!
QOTD: I think a windfall would be shared with family. More education for my boys or payoff their student loans, help my parents out in their retirement. Medications are not something they planned for. :( And plan better for Jim and my retirement after watching my parents struggles. Then help the granddaughters with future college plans. I'd have to win really BIG!! LOL

Today's menu is Traditional Polish food. Easter is the holy day we hold especially dear.
I have entered many possibilities into MFP, will not eat it all. Right now Cal: 956 Prot: 80 Carb: 56. I will adjust tonite. I know this is WAY over my usual , but there is such a variety of foods, I'm not sure what I'll try.

Good morning Easter menu peeps! Ha ha, get it? Peeps! Had a productive day yesterday, and I finally got my taxes done and submitted. Yay! I was putting it off because I knew I had to pay a ton of capital gains because of the sale of my rental, and I did. Boooo! But I am happy to no longer have it hanging over my head.
Today is supposed to be nice Spring weather. The family is gathering at my brother's house for a late brunch. I made a strata last night that I need to bake off. I also need to make a Spanish tortilla and assemble a grilled asparagus Cobb salad. Really not too strenuous.
QOTD: I'm with JB. I would travel, travel, travel with long stays in my favorite cities. I would add to her list Rome, Berlin, Munich, Vienna, Brussels, Maui, Barcelona, New Orleans, Budapest. I could go on and on. I'd have to win the lottery twice!
Time Since Surgery:
B: Egg Beaters, bacon and mozzarella omelette
S: Turkey pepperoni stick
L/D: Spanish tortilla, asparagus, and other assorted brunch nibbles. I see a mimosa is my future.
Have a wonderful day everyone!
