What's on your Sunday Menu RNYers?
Good morning! Today I start my "pre-move," setting up some fragile stuff and essentials at the new place. Movers come tomorrow. I'm excited, overwhelmed, and scared. I've never lived alone before. I never wanted to. I always thought I'd be lonely. And I think this will be hard on my cat and dog. The cat will transition to be an indoor cat and my dog won't have other people and dogs around most of the time anymore. I plan to get a cat condo and I'll hire a dog walker for my dog while I'm at work, but... I still worry.
QOTD: I'd definitely outsource all the work I don't like doing. Get a driver! I hate driving. And a house. And I'd travel a lot more. Take care of my parents and brothers.
Today's plan involves the pickled eggs my mom made just for me for Easter dinner. She makes them with beets and onions.
Breakfast 1: coffee with premier protein
Breakfast 2: cottage cheese
Lunch: 1/4 cup fake chicken crack & babybel
Dinner: pickled egg with beets and onions
Snack: Greek yogurt with protein powder and sugar free cheesecake pudding mix
Totals:
Calories 631/ carbs 31/ protein 82

Happy Easter to those who celebrate!
I had a lovely day in Boston yesterday. I walked around the North End which is Boston's "Little Italy" and a few parks that are right on the ocean. It was a beautiful spring day and I got 7+ miles of walking in before going to see The King and I, which was really lovely. Also I ate out for both lunch and dinner, and had lots of top quality red meat. Mmm.
This morning I am on my way out the door for an outdoor run, then I seriously hope to just crawl back into bed for a few hours :) Later we will go to dinner at a steakhouse with my family tonight to celebrate Easter. More red meat! Lol.
QOTD: Ok, after taking care of my family and paying off my mortgage, I want to travel, but not just a week here and there... I want to do it by getting an apartment right in the middle of a city and staying one year at a time so that I can really explore and get to know a city's ins and outs. My top cities to explore for a year at a time are: New York City, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Kyoto, Sydney, Venice... Ooh and I want to go back to school and study something totally interesting but frivolous, like book binding or design. Oh man, I hope this is a big lottery!
BTW, Grim wants to know what a "fancy tractor" is :)
B: Fit Frappe Mocha Protein Coffee
S:Almonds and cheese
L: Leftover hamburger over spinach leaves, bacon, hb egg and onion.
S: Deli turkey & cheese
D: Steak!
Vitamins: Patches (D3, Iron & Multi)
Exercise: 4 miles run/walk
Hahahaha afancy tractor to me has air conditioning, a built in fridge and radio and not having to ride the clutch to slow down because of terrible brakes hahaha. Super fancy would be an autonomous driving one I saw in a magazine.
Here's a picture of a harvester in Saskatchewan, I embarrassed my husband by insisting on having my picture taken with. (He's not as open to trespassing on dealerships when their closed, as I am apparently hahah)
this is fancy to me

My old company did work over a number of years for a chicken farmer. I always loved going there because he was so passionate about his farm and loved talking about it. I learned so much. The automation that exists on that farm blew me away, it's not technology that most of us see or think about but it's so impressive. Fancy tractors indeed!

Happy Easter!!
Good morning guys, hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Had some success shopping yesterday so I don't feel quite so unprepared in the work clothes department. The nerves/excitement will build throughout the day today I'm sure, haven't been the new kid at work in 20 years....
QOTD When I was younger I had a list prepared for my eventual future lottery win. Not that I played, then or now, but the hypothetical was... buy my mom and dad one of the old century homes in the village I grew up in (my mom was always admiring and trying to see inside)... buy my grandfather an old Studebaker to obsess over... buy my aunt a bakery so she could do what she loves all day... etc. Now my answer is pay off my sisters mortgage, give some to my mom and sister to make their own decisions with, get myself a new but not too big house in the country with a couple acres of forest, put a bunch aside for future travel (a month or so in Hawaii...ahhhh) and generally live happily knowing I can retire comfortably.
4+ months post op
B- coffee w/ 1/2 premier protein
L- chicken breast, goat cheese
D- undecided...don't imagine I'll be eating too much today, I get a nervous tummy and the last thing on my brain today will be food.
S- coffee w/ premier
Have a great day guys!
