Good morning guys!

Yesterday turned out to be a good day and I needed the distraction. The job search is taking its toll so getting away from it for a day was a good idea. We ended up getting some sushi for lunch and it worked out well for me, I had to pick through it a little to avoid the rice but the salmon and shrimp were worth it.

QOTD I've really liked some of your answers to this; going back to see family members in their youth or ourselves to give advice... interesting ideas. I've never considered this one so I'm not sure. I suppose if I wanted to travel some distance in time... I've always loved the movie 'A Knights Tale' so that would be cool but specifically from an idealistic movie perspective because as Insert Fitness said it would be an unhygienic, odorous time.

Good morning!! It's supposed to rain this afternoon, so that means swimming in the rain again but I kind of like it. Hoping it clears by tomorrow afternoon because I am hiking (luckily a paved trail) after work with a friend from out of town and I've been looking so forward to this!

JB - your QOTD made me think of the movie Ever After! I love that movie. I have many time periods that I adore. Top 2 would be England in the Georgian Era (early 1700's-early 1800's) and America in the 40's and 50's.

QOTD: I think it would be cool to see the future but I would go back in time before my mom died when I was 9. I don't necessarily know what I would do different being so young but maybe just hug her more often. I would also tell my stupid teenage self not to drop out of high school and go to college to be a veterinarian or at least get a degree and live the college experience.

Menu: Fairlife milk, coffee, chicken thigh & cauliflower, and not sure about dinner. I need to go to the grocery store bad!!

Actually is was just my mom. My Dad is still around. The gallbladder surgery went fine. All I heard was how simple and common that procedure was and you go home the same day so I was shocked when it was painful as it was. I personally think it was worse than my WLS. My surgeon said my gallbladder was impacted with tons of stones. Twice since surgery I've had that same pain that I was having previously. It only lasts for about 5 minutes rather than hours so I don't know if it's my body healing or if stones were left behind in the duct. Oh I hope not! So far I haven't had any sensitivity to any foods. I kind of wish I did so I wouldn't be constipated all the time lol lol.

Running late seems to be the story of my life! Haha.

QOTD: I think I'd go back to the to the 1940's era. Love big band music and dancing.... the depression not so much!

After talking with Daisy I'm taking out the veggies for a bit and adding more protein to each of my meals. I've also been at the same basic weight going up and back down daily for a while so I'm hoping to shake things up a bit. CAMAW for the next few days may help. Thanks for the help Daisy!
