Morning JB, the weather is totally the same here too, we had snow last Friday, 75 on Sunday and Sunny. This week is a mixture of rain, sun and 50-70's temp. I had all the windows open in the house yesterday for fresh air in the evening and it was wonderful. Here its supposed to be crappy for Easter weekend, maybe it will turn around. Glad you & Grim got some rest, nothing wrong with crashing, I did the same last night, think I fell asleep on the couch at 6:30pm!!!!
QOTD: My weight history over the years has literally been all over the place, at one point in my late teens/early 20's I was anorexic (yes really, so F'd up) and then in my early 30s - early 40's I was MO. But I think when I liked my weight the most was my late 20's, I was around 118-120 lbs and I used to work out a lot so I was very strong and very toned. I work out a lot now but now I have excess skin and I am in my mid 40's so not the body I had in my 20's. This topic brings up lots of bad memories for me so on to my menu...

**currently "de-carbing" from my "carb-a-palozza" on the weekend. Hubby and I went to his cousins' baby shower and there was NOTHING that was WLS friendly or protein forward (and there usually is as these people have parties all the time), so ya I had cookies, 1/2 a cupcake, guac & tortilla chips, crackers and on and on. I seriously still feel it in my system and the carb cravings are off the chart right now, I NEED TO SMARTEN UP! Have I said lately how hard maintenance is??
Have an awesome day everyone!

Good morning all -
Still working but have my menu all planned.
QOTD: I lost down to 145 pounds 7 years ago, so that is why I picked that goal this time around, because I know I can do it. I also know that with this tool I will not have a re-gain, believe me I have learned from my mistakes. I really don't remember any other key weights. I was never really overweight until college, when I graduated from high school I was wearing a size 12.
I wont be weighing until I get up for the day later this afternoon, so I will edit my weight then.
Menu:
B- protein shake
L- ricotta bake
D - chunky light tuna pouch
S - 1/2 c cottage cheese
Calories - 503, Protein - 77, Carbs - 16

Morning all!
It's going to be a long day. I didn't sleep well last night at all! No particular reason.
QOTD- Hmm. I remember what I weighed when I got married. I am thinner than that now! :) I remember about what I weighed when my oldest child was born (20 years ago!). I have about 30 more pounds to go before I get there. I don't remember exactly what I weighed when I graduated high school, but I was probably around 220? I remember being horrified that I was over 200 pounds. The first weight I remember was in second grade. The school nurse weighed us in front of each other, and I remember my weight being higher than the other kids. I was just chubby back then, but already had figured it out. Back then, there weren't nearly as many overweight kids as there are now...I was usually the only one in my class, and I wasn't even very overweight then. And I remember being, oh, probably 12 or so, and going to the doctor and weighing 120 or so pounds, and him telling me just to not gain anymore weight because I would have a growth spurt soon and could just grow into my weight. And I remember thinking that he was crazy, no way could I grow tall enough to make 120 pounds look thin. haha! I'm 5'8 now. 120 pounds would look like death.
Ok, ok...today's food...7 months out
B- I have a breakfast casserole to stick in the oven here shortly, eggs and bacon and cheese and veggies.
L- turkey/cheese/veggies/ranch on a low carb wrap
S- I have some protein/sugar free cookie dough mixed up that I am going to give a try. That pineapple "cake" thing from yesterday was...not great. lol. It was ok. Very dense and heavy.
D- grilled stuffed burrito (chicken/veg/cream cheese and greek yogurt on a low carb wrap)
S- SF jello with berries

I'll NEVER forget being weighted in front of my 7th grade class and the teacher said the number out loud and kids gasped. What an impression that made on me.

Hello everyone!
QOTD- There are very few specific weights that I remember. I know that I was approaching 300 in my third trimester with my daughter and I stopped looking at the scale. I know I got down to 247ish on my own the next summer, regained back to the 270's and then lost to 237 the next year....regained to 262.2. Then started the process for surgery. Today I am officially 50 pounds down from my weight at my initial consultation. 212.2 :) It is definitely the lowest I have been as an adult....probably since middle school. I went "shopping" at a relative's house and got a few size 14 (regular 14 not plus!) and even a few 12's some of the 12's are still too tight! I don't think I ever wore those sizes.....seems I went straight up to plus sizes.
Here is a picture of me 2 summers ago vs this past weekend. I think you can tell which is which.
Menu-
m1- protein shake with fairlife milk (28g, 160)
m2- babybel cheese (5g, 50)

Total (73g, 515)
