What exercise & activities do you do?
I love spin class! For me having the instructor and the other students there is very motivating and the time goes by much faster than when I work out alone on the elliptical or treadmill. And the bike is no impact which is great for me as a heavier person. I look forward to running again, but I don't feel like my joints will be up for anything over a slow mile on the treadmill until I'm under 200 lbs.
i also do interval training and other strength training with resistance bands and weights. But I don't love it. I like the interval class better than weights on my own, but I do all that more for my overall goals than because I love it. Spin I love!

Swimming is great exercise for sure. Plus you have an excuse to hit the hot tub when you're done!
After having surgery, I discovered that I love cycling. Before WLS, I could ride a very wobbly mile or two and be exhausted afterwards, but as I lost weight I found I could ride for much longer periods of time. I bring my music and a snack and I go out and enjoy the sunshine for an hour or more at a time, and I absolutely love it-- and therefore I'm far more motivated to actually get off my butt!
I also do yoga, though I don't have time for classes. I signed up for Yogaglo.com, you can stream yoga classes and there's a huge catalog, I totally recommend it.

VSG 2013, RNY conversion 2019 due to GERD. Trendweight here!
Zumba, running, and spin classes are my favorite cardio. I need to do more strength training. I do push-ups and lift weights once in a while but not enough.

I cannot believe it sometimes, but I love to work out. This from a girl who put the potato in couch-potato!
Mon Wed Fri I do an hour HIIT class, very intense interval training
Tues and Thurs I work with a personal trainer at the gym for an hour, mostly free weights (which I love), and body-weight exercises like squat, planks, pushups, etc.
Sat is a 1-hour spin class with my son and his wife. Hard work but so fun.
Sun is my rest day, so I swim laps for an hour (at a slow pace), then take a yoga class, then relax in the sauna and hot tub.
This is my winter schedule, it will change when I can get outside to run and ride my bike. I also love hiking or kayaking with a group - Alaska has some spectacular scenery for running/walking/biking/hiking/kayaking....
Life is good when you can do so much...just wish I hadn't waited so long to get here! :)
I love running and work out with a trainer on interval training.
i will try anything at least once also looking for a new challenge

I joined a gym that offered a lot of fitness classes. (Mine happened to be at my local community college, awesome price.) I looked at the schedule and picked 1-2 a day and started going to them. I promised myself to give every new class (and every new teacher) FOUR tries before giving up because it's really easy to quit after the first few classes when you feel like an ungainly whale who can't do anything right :P
When new classes were added that fit into my schedule, I'd give them the four try rule too.
I found that I love pilates, yoga, and tai chi. I love other random stuff too but those don't always stick around. I love the Les Mills classes - especially Body Combat, but it's not offered locally. Sniff.
And then I started running. o_O
So now, three years post-op and with significantly less time in my life because I decided to go back to college.. I run and do yoga, pilates, and tai chi :)

The main take away from this should be:
Try everything that is even remotely appealing to you.
Give it at least four tries before giving up, since that'll get you past the "I can't do anything right" stage.

I walk. It is the only exercise I do and I love doing it. It works for me and I often get compliments about what good shape I am in. My fitbit helps me stay on track.
I used to exercise religiously at the gym but then life got in the way and I realized I could maintain my weight without exercise. My boyfriend had a stroke 2 years ago and I realized I needed to do something for my health so I started walking. Now I focus on my steps and just being active. Many people here do the same.
As others have said, find something you love to do and do it. It does not have to be strenuous. Get an activity tracker and get your steps up. Every little bit helps.
