That cheese adds up fast.

I love cheese on everything too.

I like your job performance thinking.

Hello menu peeps!

I haven't posted in forever it seems (even though it was just last week)... work is busy, and that's the only time I usually get on here! But I'm here, and I do read from time to time on my phone, I just really suck with posting from my phone.

Friday was my birthday... and I had a blast with my family! We went out to eat (where they brought this sinful brownie/vanilla ice cream dessert ack!) Luckily that dessert came AFTER I had eaten a yummy bunless burger, so I was too full to be too tempted. I did taste it (and I ate all the whipped cream which no one should be surprised by)... then we went bowling, had a blast! Saturday was spent in Tulsa with my mom and I hanging out, and tonight is dinner with my friends. I love celebrating for several days in a row!

Had an eye doc appointment this morning, so I am just now finishing up breakfast...

B: 1/2 of a breakfast burrito - eggs/cheese/chorizo/bacon, no tortilla - except the bite of the piece smothered in all the cheese! LOL

L: a leftover surprise, which will truly be a surprise since I have no idea what's in the freezer at work (country style ribs I think and maybe a chili)

D: Dinner at a local cajun place... NO CLUE what I'll have, but no promises of tastes of things I shouldn't be having, but the main course will be protein of some sort for sure.

Julia, I'm glad dad is doing better. I need to go catch up and see if you've updated on what happened.

I am with you I find posting from my phone a PITA on OH. Forget if I want to add a picture....I can do it but on Friday once the pic was in The submit button couldn't be navigated on to the screen where I could actually send it. ...

Glad you had lots of Birthday fun...

Good morning JB and crew! Last week at my school job and as a nanny... pretty much moving over to the farm next Monday. So excited.

QOTD: Follow the rules as soon as you know you are having WLS. Definitely after WLS. Eat slowly. Do not drink with or after meals. Ditch the carbs. Eat only the amount you are authorized to eat. Get a hobby. But follow the rules.

B: 2/3 c Fairlife with coffee and Miralax, Light & Fit greek cherry yogurt

L: HB egg with salad, 4 beets and lite ranch dressing

D: Chicken taco salad with 3 oz chicken, 1 oz cheese and salsa

S: 6 beef jerky coins, Syntrax fuzzy navel in water

Totals: 690 calories, 92 protein 28 carbs 25 fat

I have to order some size 12 jeans. My size 14 jeans are now too big. Such a problem.

Have a great Monday everyone!

Good morning OH peeps! Yesterday I was at my parents house helping them get ready for their move in a few weeks and I ended up taking home a bunch more stuff they purged... I did not want to do that! I don't want any more 'stuff'! I can see my Dad getting worse and more and more confused. It's happening so quickly. He is unable to stay present for very long, but he comes back. He sometime talks to me like a stranger asking me about what I do for a living or if I have children or talking about something that happened 20 or 50 years ago as if it's now. It's incredibly heartbreaking. He is as sweet as can be and I'm so grateful for that.

QOTD - My advice to my pre-op self would be - RELAX, you got this! I was super OCD/obsessive about it and was over thinking EVERYTHING. I'm getting better at that, but I had to learn it by doing it. I'm in a really good place right now as far as food/obsession/cravings go and I hope I stay here. I'm sure it is all meat has allowed me this and it's exactly where I need to be.
