Movable lump around my belly button ????
Sounds weird to even type that, but I have one. Anyone experience this? I noticed the first time doing my ab exercises. It's like a ball. You can even see it through my skin. It doesn't hurt just seems to move all around my belly button on both sides. Not sure if it's something " normal" that I can now feel because I am much smaller or if this is a potential problem. Could this be a hernia?

How big is the lump? It could be scar tissue from your RNY. I know most of our surgeons used our belly button as an incision site. One of my other sites, not the belly button one, has a small pea-sized lump I can move around. My bariatric surgeon and plastic surgeon said it was scar tissue.

I'd say its maybe size of a gum ball. Not terrible large but not pea sized. I was wondering if it was something to do with the incision site. That would make sense.

I have a lump on the left side of my belly button.
It does not move around, but since my RNY I have a pulling and tugging sensation.
It is an umbilical hernia and I am hoping when I have lost all my weight and move towards plastic surgery/tummy tuck that it will be repaired.
Perhaps you can have your doctor have a look....
