Thanks! Yes, I'm within 3 pounds now! My doctor wants me to go at least 10 lbs past goal. He says that there is a natural leveling off that has you gaining some weight before you level.

What are amazeball???? LOL!

Fantastic.

Now can also be the time to reflect on what helped you be successful and to make sure those pillars of success stay in place. Pre-ops and post-ops would also benefit from your story.

For me, there was a time, about 6 months out that I heard a WLS surgeon say that beyond WL, the real goal was to:

"Have a healthy and happy relationship with food and your body."

That helped prepare me for maintainence (which took me longer to get to than you).

Good luck as you enter the next phase in the near future.

How did all of due it with the liquid diet I'm going on day three and it's driving me crazy.

I worry because I'm 60 and have never been this heavy in my life 230 due to having no thyroid,

and back surgery. I am active but with those problems and then they put you on the pills for the

pain you can't win. 13 days to go until surgery can't wait.

I'm glad your all here.

I'll try. I think my success has been with following the rules. I transitioned through all of the steps. I stick to the right foods. I don't eat white flour, white sugar, products with more than minimal sugar, bread or rice of any kind (at this point), liquid within 30 minutes of food, most snacks, alcohol, carbonated drinks, etc.
