When I was a teen, my grandmother told me I looked like Linda Blair, and my cousins used to say I looked like Mary Tyler Moore, but I don't think I resembled either - and I sure don't now!!

QOTD: oddly, I've been really excited about going to the American Library Association conference in Chicago in June. I think about it every day! I've been a librarian for 20+ years (it was my second career), and I've never been to ALA!

22 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt, raspberries

S: coffee with half & half, SF protein/Miralax chocolate/salted caramel shake

L: 1/2 chicken salad wrap, orange

D: going out with this board I'm on to an upscale Italian place. I think the meatball appetizer...(they have marinara sauce and Parmesan on them). The other two or three things on the menu that are bariatric-friendly are way too expensive for me! (like a $60 steak - ah, no thanks...)

I have a trip to Ottawa planned for a couple days with my husband the 20th-22nd of this month, then a trip to North Carolina May 19th-29th, a trip to Rhode Island the 23rd-25th of June and then Anaheim, CA from July 26th-30th. So, yeah I have some things to look forward to!

Today is a big day! I broke the 100lb lost mark (not since surgery obviously)! This has been such a long time coming, since 2011 in fact. 21lbs to my surgeons goal and 33-ish to mine. I'm starting to see some really loose skin in my lower abdomen though, oh my! I look like I'm carrying a spare tire around my hips because the rest of me is thin!

I saw my trainer last night and we did a 90 minute work out. I didn't look at the clock once. Who knew that lifting marginally heavy things could be so fun?! Tomorrow is the kids birthday party, so that will be a test of my will power!

11 weeks post op, 181.2lbs today (a BIG drop! I haven't seen the 170's since at least high school).

B: Dannon L&F and Babybel Cheese

L: Pork chop & Cabot Cheese Square

Hi menu peeps,

JB, I am SO sorry to hear about your dad. I will keep him in my thoughts...he's lucky to have you there to help. Make sure to stay hydrated!

My BFs kids start spring break today so we are picking them up from school and driving down to Charlotte to visit my parents for a few days. Then we drive back up here and his parents visit. So lots of family time over the next week! Luckily I adore the kids and all of the parents so it will be fun. I will have to closely monitor my calories since family visits = big "productions" instead of reasonable meals, wine, etc.

I have never been told that I look like anyone famous, though people have said I look like someone else they know. I have freckles and I don't think a lot of famous people do, so maybe that's why.

Time Since Surgery: 3 years, 4 months

B: Coffee with cream, pretzel crisps with blue crab spread from Costco

L: Leftover chicken cheesesteak

D: On the road - maybe Chick-fil-A? I get the 3 piece chicken tenders and steal 1 fry from the kids

E: None, unless sitting my butt in the passenger seat for like 9 hours counts for something

V: I am out of my patches! EEK.

Have a wonderful day, weekend and week, all!
