I bought some tofu (no idea why, tried before and didn't like it... ok it was really cheap) any tips how to prepare so it will taste good?
Thank you for any ideas
We either do Lamb roasts like that using the rotisserie on the BBQ, or in the grill, using indirect heat. Usually some kind of rosemary garlic rub, or Indian spiced rub. And either way, the leftovers usually get turned into curry hmmmm lamb now I want some...

Oh also, if you arent a fan of tofu, I'd suggest googling tofu jerkey.

If you bought firm tofu you can grill it as well. Wrap in paper towel and put some weight on top of it for about an hour to press out extra moisture then marinate in low sodium soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic and rice wine vinegar for about an hour. Pat dry then throw on the grill.

We love lamb and eat it quite often.
It sounds like you have a leg of lamb. To cook it, I usually use a rub of crushed garlic, olive oil, lemon, dijon, sea/kosher salt, fresh black pepper and fresh rosemary and start in a hot 425ºF oven for 15 minutes, and then roast it in a moderate oven until it reaches 130 - 135ºF by my meat thermometer. It usually takes about 20 to 30 minutes per pound -- you do NOT want to overcook it -- it is traditionally served medium-rare. After it reaches temp, I tent it and let it rest for at least 10 to 15 minutes, it will end up about 140- 145ºF.

Our local food coop has a help-yourself soup bar; they add cubed tofu to a few of their soups and chili. My favorite website for recipe searches is www.allrecipes.com
