What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
PB2 is a peanut butter powder. They also have it with peanut and chocolate mixed. I use it sometimes in my protein drinks or yogurt for extra flavor and a little added protein. You can purchase it at Walmart I know.

Nothing Tastes as Good as Healthy Feels!
PB2 is the product name of a powdered peanut butter. Gleaning protein choices from hospital cafeteria salad bars might work for JB....my mother, a retired 33-year-long 3rd grade teacher, had a stroke in an airplane at age 70ish---she's in her 90's now so take heart there is hope for a longer life. My dad was a cattle farmer, bus driver, logger, caretaker for his parents, and an insurance salesperson. He died of a heart attack when I was 12. It is suppose to be in the 50's today, so exercising outside is on my main menu for today.
Other people pretty much answered this for me but I'll throw in my 2 cents since I brought it up. PB2 is powdered peanut butter. It's 45 calories, 5 carbs, and 5 grams protein for a 2 tbs serving. But I misread the label and only put a tsp in my yogurt. So that's 8 calories and under 1 for carbs and protein. You can mix it up with water for low cal "peanut butter." It tastes peanutbuttery but the consistency is much lighter. I also used a little bit with some broth and soy sauce to make a low cal peanut sauce. And now it's in my butterfinger flavored yogurt!

As Teena said, it is Peanit Butter powder. It's 85% less fat. You can use it in multiple applications such as putting it in a protein drink, mixing it in yogurt or just mix it with a tiny bi****er and make the peanut butter. It's really good! It's slightly sweet. They make other flavors too like PB2 chocolate. Yum!

I occasionally mix a box of SF pudding in with 2 C of homemade Greek yogurt (in fact, I learned that trick here...). sometimes I have to add a little unsweetened almond or cashew milk to get it going. It's great! I like the lemon and cheesecake flavors with raspberries on top (for breakfast). I like the pistachio flavored as a dessert.
JB, I hope they get to the bottom of what is happening with your Dad. Hospitals are so frustrating with the waiting and the lack of control (and yes, the hanging around in ERs waiting for a room). Best of luck for your Dad.
Isn't it weird how hospitals, where one is supposed to go to get healthy are so stocked with unhealthy food choices? I often end up with something like yogurt or a meat based soup. They are about the only somewhat safe choices even in the hospital where I had my WLS.
QOTD: My Dad was an insurance executive at the company where I am an insurance executive! Who would have predicted that especially since he died when I was 12? My mother was a social worker prior to leaving work when she had children. Mothers didn't work in those days (1950s), though I think it would have been emotionally healthier for her to have gone back after my father died (she was only 43 then). I think she was too depressed and scared at that point and unfortunately turned to alcohol for the next 30 years. She did stop drinking for the last 15 years of her life and I got to really know and enjoy her as did my kids. She was very intelligent and had a great dry humor.

I know, right? My most recent no-healthy-options-available and I've missed lunch crisis was in a hospital waiting room!!! The hospital where I had my surgery, no less! They do a lot of bariatric surgeries there, too. You'd think they'd cater to their patients a bit better since they know we come back for follow ups!
