Hi, Thanks so much for your input. I just returned from my appoitment with my family doctor. He prescribed the immediate release bupropion 100 3x a day to get it up to the dose I was on with the SR. You have a smart PA. Some bariatric Drs and psychiatrists still do not realize the maLabsorption issue. He also prescribed generic Xanax .5 3 x a day for 4 weeks until my meds are up to the correct levels and then will titrated that down. He knows my depression is due to the stress I have been under. I had to have a cardiac stent put in On Jan 25 due to blockage and Feb 3 my husband had to have quadruple bypass due to a heart attack. We are in our 70s and it's been rough so I thank you for our help. Good luck and God bless you on your journey.

I am on Wellbutrin XL, Zoloft (sertraline) and Abilify. My depression has been stable for over 5 years on this regime. The psychiatrist knew I had had a Roux-n-Y when he prescribed it and it helped immensely. Good luck with your treatment-- depression is horrible. I have had many episodes in my 56 years.

I am happy this is working for you. I thought mine was too until I had some major stressors and depression came on fast. My meds were being taken but might just have well been placebos because they were not being used and absorbed. Thanks for your reply.
