Stall or Done???
At eighteen months, your easy weight loss from surgery and malabsorption has ended. You will maintain now as long as you don't increase calories. Your body is smart enough to heal from the surgery and it is going to absorb the calories from the food that you put into it.
If you really want to hit that personal goal, then make it a goal not a wish. The difference is that a goal has a date attached to it. One pound a week of loss will mean ten pounds less in ten weeks. It will be ten weeks of hard work and only you can decide if it is worth it to you.

I agree with White Dove:
Congrats on your progress so far.
Our bodies adjust very well, and getting down to the final last lbs. is a challenge, but does not need to stop, only slow down to a craw, even with consistent efforts.
Holding steady is a good thing, and being able to do so and not gain is a great thing. Getting down further requires we must change things up in our diet and or exercise to make our body change more, otherwise it feels it is at maintenance levels.

If you continue doing what you're doing, you'll just stay in maintenance, though. You won't reach your goal. To reach your goal, you'll need to make sure you're tracking everything you put into your mouth and then work to reduce your caloric intake.

I was thinking the same thing. The OP may even gain if she keeps doing what she is doing. At 18 months I was eating 2500 calories a day to maintain. My malabsorption was still working. At the 2 year mark I gained 10 pounds quickly. I had to cut my calories way back and now maintain on fewer calories than I did at the 18 month mark.

I stayed below my goal weight for 4 years, then started creeping up. For the last 4 years it is a struggle - up 5 pounds, then track food in journal, reduce calories (especially carbs) and loose a couple of pounds, but soon the scale starts going up again.
I'm currently trying to lose 8 pounds just to get back to goal. It is a struggle. I am logging every bite and add totals after lunch to know what I can plan for the rest of the day. I'm ranging 800-1100 calories a day and still losing slowly.
I thought it was easy to stay below goal - because I had maintained below goal for 4 years, but then my body started gaining and I've been diligent since then. I do weigh every day, and that works for me.
Keep a food diary - eat protein first for every meal and snack, then veggies and fruit. Limit carbs and make sure what you eat is nutritional positive for energy, cell restoration, brain function, etc. Start omitting high calorie/no nutrition foods/snacks. My rule is 1 gram protein for every 10 calories to be a protein rich food. I also try not to "drink" calories with the exception of protein drinks and some organic half and half/milk in my hot tea.
Keep eating to lose weight as long as you can and try to get to your goal. Most of us "vets" agree it is easy to gain after the "honeymoon" period.
Best wishes,

I am not at goal. I wish I did utilize my honeymoon faze more so. I still feel restriction thank goodness. I am losing weight very slowly.
Don't settle if this is not the goal you want to be at.
Keep counting calories and making sure you are getting in your protein and water for the days.
Well if you're able to wear what you wore in grade school then that's pretty damn good!
