Happy Monday, and while I'll be sitting in the office, I'm happy to say #ITFDB (everyone who thinks opening day should be a National Holiday and knows where I live will understand!!) JB and Grim, I am SOOOOO jealous!

JBQOTD: I second you on the cheese thing. While I did use cheese this morning, I will now measure it out instead of just sprinkling with abandon.

Here's my plan:

B: 2.5 oz ground turkey, 2 oz cauliflower rice, .5 tbs grated cheese

L: Chicken breast (although it should be a Dodger Dog)

D: probably tri tip, 1/4 cup mashed sweet potato

S: 4 oz fairlife milk; 1.92 oz sliced turkey, 1 oz sliced cheese, light and fit if need be.

Exercise: work dependent, but I plan on 5 miles in the park (I have a 1/2 marathon in 6 weeks and I'm in panic mode)

Hi all

We are vacation but I'm posting because it is a pouring rain here and we won't leave camper until it dies down. We made it here with some issues but that is a different story for a different day. I do have my protein decaf coffee freshly made by me in the baby camper so that is aLL I need. That and some breakfast soon.

I have not weighed since last friday. Its strange.

QOTD: I think its the rationalization of the food choices I make. I also realized last week as I was picking some lettuce from the garden that I really do not require much food. FLAT OUT! Do not need but a bite of something and that kind of sank in hard. So I gathered about 5-6 lettuce leaves, put a little drop or two of bolthouse dressing with my meat. I have to think in micro portions.

Yesterday we went to a local seafood place. DH and I shared the captains platter, all broiled fish, shrimp, scallops, and LOBSTER tail! He got the salad bar and the baked potato. So I ate 2 radishes, 1 carrot and 1/2 the meats. Man it was amazing. DH did get dessert. It was a chocolate eclair pudding with fudge topping and whipped cream. I DID have 2-3 bites. I did not feel well later but it was good. OH, and I ate two egg white delights from mcd's without bread for breakfast yesterday, and I ate them too fast. I had foamies for about 10 minutes yesterday morning. I ate too fast because we were eating outside and the bugs started coming so apparently that means cramming food into pie hole fast.

Today's plans:

We are going thrift store shopping!! OH, and if yall have old navy outlet near you, go check racks. I found tops for .49 and yoga pants for 1.97! Very awesome!

Sometimes when you get food stuck (ie, didn't chew it well enough), you will get this 'foam' that comes up... I don't know exactly the technical term as to why, but I always imagine it has to do with your tummy trying to break the food down and there's no where for it to go if it's stuck.

You often also get the 'slimies' that come along with it... just thick slimy spit.

Ah, such a nice topic.

I hope you never understand what I just tried to explain!

Good morning! OMG, Lobstah grilled cheese! I dream about Lobster rolls all the time, especially when friends post pic's on FB. Please post a pic!

Nice weekend, relaxing and productive. I went to my parents yesterday to help organize and pack some things for their move in a few weeks. My mom gave me the sacred China dishes. Beautiful place setting for 12 and all the side pieces, not one piece chipped or broken in almost 60 years (no pressure there) Our family of 8 ate off these dishes every Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Now I need an equally beautiful hutch to display them. So touched and thankful.

QOTD - I stopped eating yogurt a while ago, but recently cheese and nuts in favor of dense protein. I was relying on them way too much and I have noticed a big difference in how I feel and I think it's helping on the scale too.

4 months, 2 weeks out from surgery

b- coffee w/heavy cream, splenda

b2-pepperoni, meat stick

Happy Opening Day Grimberry! Quick post from me today. Went to gastro doctor this morning and am now at work playing catch up. Endoscope scheduled for tomorrow. Doctor is leaning toward ulcer and a separate problem with the duct between small intestines and liver. Fun times. MRI to follow this week for the liver duct thing. I liked the doctor. He seemed to have a good handle on what might be going on with me and has worked with many RNY folks in the past. Hoping the tests all go well.

Accountability: Weight is stable, smoking quit is stable too. All is quiet on the western front.

QOTD: I plan ahead for breakfast (which I previously always skipped) and lunch.
