Happy Sunday Menu Family... Well yesterday I amounted to a whole bunch of nothing and in all reality I do not see today being any better. I just don't feel well my body is just feeling achy breaky plus I have a killer headache borderline migraine. So today I will do the laundry because my OCD will not allow me to begin the week with dirty clothes in the laundry basket and the rest of the day will be a whole lot of resting. I hate feeling like this but I guess I need to do what is best in order to get better so I can feel better for the week ahead. As it will be another busy one.

QOTD: I collected clowns have since I was a little girl but have not actively added to my collection in quite some time. That was something my mom always did and when her health started to fail she stopped buying them for me and I just have not been able to bring myself to purchase one for myself.

As for hobbies I guess this summer I am going to become a golfer! My dad bought a family membership to where he golfs so my husband and I can go with him and he also bought me a nice set of clubs so look out John Daly I will be coming after you with my fashion sense on the course. But in all honesty I am pretty excited about it because I have always wanted to try but used my size as my excuse. Not this summer!

Food for the day: That is so up in the air the only thing I have had is tea and some water and even that has not settled well with me so I guess today will be a lets see where the day takes me.

Have a great day friends....

Have fun learning to golf! When I was 13 my dad was promoted at work and his new position "required" golf course schmoozing so the family learned to play. Challenging game for sure but I have great memories of family time on the course. I don't play too often myself anymore but my mom continues to play almost daily.

Hi! Didn't post yesterday. My husband's birthday plans went bust because he got called into work. Boo. He is working today too, so we will celebrate tomorrow. It's been a quiet weekend here. My 12yo is slowly getting better but his asthma issues are still lingering.

Hobbies. Well, I homeschool four kids, so my hobbies include 6th grade grammar and kitchen science experiments. Now that everyone is getting older (my youngest will be five in May) I am getting more able to pick up some things here and there. I am starting a small garden this spring, and we are building a chicken house. Wish me luck. I have not proved a green thumb in the past, but I'm hoping that that was due to lack of time/stupidity of trying to garden with babies and toddlers. We shall see!

Menu. Totally planning this here and now.

Breakfast- I have some leftover polish sausage from last night. I'm making muffins for the family, so that seems the easiest for me.

Lunch- The rest of my leftovers

Tea- Maybe some deli ham and cheese? I eat that a lot, but I like it, and it's quick!

Dinner- chicken drumsticks and asparagus on the menu, with mashed for the family. Making a giant package of chicken, so hopefully that will proved some leftovers for tomorrow!

Don't know about anyone else but the snacking urge has been a constant battle this week. I wish this got Easier! Now I'll stop whining. I WILL be strong today. QOTD hobbies are campiing,walking/hiking,knitting,reading and I do have a sewing machine I should drag out. I go in spurts though so it takes forever for me to get things finished. It seems I work a bit and then get bored or frustrated. Plans today include church and cleaning and packing the RV more for our escape Tuesday. Lily and I have our 3.2 miles in already and will do another mile after supper. Post op 4 years 7 months and weight at 117.8 today. Not enough fluids yesterday so that's a goal for today. Here's food for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 1 c chili with cheese D 31/2 oz strip steak 1/2 c Santa Fe veggie blend S mission one chocolate brownie protein bar. Have a great day everyone and make some smart and conscious choices that move you one step closer to your goal! Later.

I've been feeling like an eating machine this week, too. It's been a real challenge not to cave...

Good morning all -

Heading to bed, one more night shift to go. I weighed yesterday afternoon when I got up. The scale took back the pound I lost the day before. Guess it really must be the dreaded 3 week stall. I know it will eventually move in the right direction.

QOTD: I really only have a couple hobbies, I read in the late fall and winter. In the spring and summer I like fishing and camping.

Today's menu:

Breakfast - Protein Shake

Snack - cottage cheese

Lunch - 2 ounces smoked salmon

Snack - Ranch tuna pouch

Dinner - Ricotta Bake

Calories - 573, Protein - 86, Carbs - 18

Have a great day everyone!!

Do you eat cold smoked salmon or cooked smoked salmon? I love the cold smoked but can't touch the cooked smoked ever since WLS.
