Good afternoon menu peeps! After being sick a few days and having a root canal yesterday I am feeling better and ready to get back to life. We took the dogs to the beach this morning and I couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather. It was low tide, which is my favorite time to go. We walked and walked forever, I didn't want to leave. I found about 10 heart shaped rocks. I have quite a collection. They are all over the house and my office too. I just adore them.
Going to run errands with kiddo today and plant more flowers. It's a great day to be outside, relax on the patio and BBQ. It's exactly what I need.
QOTD- I believe my resolution was to join the gym and I've done that. I'm really happy with my commitment and I'm actually enjoying it more than I thought. As you all know, losing weight this fast is a trip, my mind and body have not caught up with each other and Im still so surprised by my smaller size when I catch my self in a mirror at the gym or a shop window.
4+ months out from surgery

e- Long Walk on the beach this morning

Love the heart shaped rocks! I have a few myself, along with wooden hearts/carvings. A client at my old job had a collection of large heart shaped rocks and carved logs throughout her garden, some of them were so cool. She traveled quite a bit and she had them from all over the world.

I can't go anywhere there are rocks without looking! Mine are mostly little ones that can fit In my pocket. I should take a bag to save the big ones I find for the garden, that is a great idea!

QOTD- My resolution was to get weight loss surgery. DONE!
Today is post op day 3, I'm home and really missing the IV Toradol!!! I'm taking the Percocet, which I didn't think I'd need but I have this sharp burning pain near my belly button that flares up when I flex my abbs (so constantly of course). Over all I'm doing great! Don't mean to sound so negative!
1st Breakfast: 2 1oz servings of vanilla protein shake
2nd Breakfast: 1oz of banana creme Greek yogurt
Lunch: 3oz homemade chicken broth with 20g grass fed whey protein powder.
Snack: 1oz SF vanilla pudding
Dinner: 3oz chicken broth with 20g whey protein
Late snack: 1oz yogurt
