What's on your Saturday menu RNYer?
Morning Weekenders!!
Im off to a baby shower and to plan another one today.
Qotd: at the beginning of the year there was a qotd about resolutions. I know not everyone made them, but now we're three months in, let's hear how you're doing?? For non resolution folks, are you on track with your goals (doesn't have to be wls related)
min my case, I wanted to become more involved in my community. So I started volunteering at a local alternative food bank. But it's a bit more challenging now that I'm working, so I've offered to help with committee work etc anything that might happen in the evening. Weight loss wise, I am sticking to the plan, and things keep moving along!
Menu:
B: protein shake
L/D tbd I'll be at the shower for lunch, and my parents for dinner. But it will be protein forward!
have a great one gang!

Good morning!
My cat kindly alerted me that there was a snowplow outside by running back and forth across my pillow chasing the headlights. Now I'm awake. Not going to the gym this morning because my driveway isn't clear yet and I'm gonna start work from home overtime in a few anyway.
QOTD: I haven't had a New Years resolution in years. I believe that if a change in my life is worth making, it's worth making it now and no need to wait for New Years. But since you asked, I've made a lot of progress on life this year. I bought a car in January. I'd been thinking about getting one AFTER moving once I had a better idea of my budget, but that choice was made for me when I got rear ended on my way to work and my car got totaled. Then on February 1st I had my RNY. I've since found a new place to live. I've been living with my parents these last few years, but they're selling the house and I can afford my own place now... moving day is in 2 weeks. So much to do!!!! So... good progress on all those life things!!
Plan for the day:
Breakfast: coffee with 2 oz premier protein shake
Snack: half cup cottage cheese, 2 banana nut protein mini muffins with 1/2 tbs light cream cheese.
Lunch: veggie patty with cheese
Snack: Newly discovered high protein frozen yogurt treat!!!! (1/2 cup Arctic zero, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, scoop protein powder, blended in food processor)
Dinner: cauliflower fried rice
Totals:
Calories 757; carbs 49; protein 85

Good morning Insert Fitness and everyone! Happy April Fool's Day everyone! Bye bye March...you kicked my butt!
I am relieved that we have had a minimal amount of snow so far! Doing a happy dance here, lol! Weight is 144.6 this morning....another yeaaaa!
QOTD: I don't do resolutions anymore. It will be 3 years on July 7 that I quit smoking and now I am focusing on my WLS and getting healthy which is on track.
Is there anyone else that has a clothes fetish now that they have lost weight? I have found a new love for clothes...my husband thinks I have issues with that now, lol. I used to not care about my clothes as much before (which was probably obvious in my before pic I posted yesterday), probably because I felt horrible about myself. I love "playing" different clothes now. I don't do much actual clothes shopping in store but have found lots of cute clothes on a local FB sale site. I do get great deals so it is not like a spend a ton of money but the clothes are generally new or slightly used. Is it just me?
Menu:
Breakfast: egg, ham and cheese scramble
Lunch: Tuna packet w/ lettuce
Dinner: not sure but it will be protein forward
Have a super weekend everyone!

Good morning! I didn't do any New Year's Resolutions but I did decide to give up "office chocolate" for Lent. I kept finding myself grabbing those little Hershey mini bars that are in jars all over the office. I don't do Lent for religious reasons, but I thought it would a good time to do a reset. I haven't had one, yet! I did, however, fall head first into a box of Munchkins yesterday, so...baby steps...Oy.
Today should be a lazy day. Maybe taxes and definitely the gym. I am also shopping for plane tickets to PARIS in May! So excited.
