Anyone use these to keep your protein up? Claims to be 100% whey protein.

If they are the ones in those test tubes I have trouble even bringing them up to my nose... they smell & taste vile.

Check the label and make sure it's 100 percent whey protein isolate.

Most of those protein "shots" are collagen protein -- which are made from hides and hooves. They are pretty much worthless. Most put a tiny bit of whey isolate in there, but just enough to put it on the label.

I have not used protein shots. Following is an endnote for anyone who is searching protein: My guidebook says to look for the words 100% whey protein isolate. A medical quality product matching all those words is made by the Unjury company www.unjury.com.

Check the nutritional value sometimes they sneak in extra sugar. Can you put the name so we can tell which one it is?

I'm still in my first month post op, but when I asked my surgeon about them she was very clear that all of the products she has seen are terrible and should be avoided.

My surgeons office actually recommended these immediately post op but like Eggface said they are disgusting. Even mixing them with water didn't work and I ended up tossing them all. Gives me a cold chill thinking about them.

I Googled them and every place that sold them shows up as an out-of-date link. I can't find anywhere that currently sells them...
