Phase Ii
My recommendation: Don't fall into that trap. Crackers are not a good idea. I try to keep my carbs very low and I am almost 7 months out. Stick to protein sources... cottage cheese, greek yogurt, scrambled eggs, try tuna maybe. Refried beans with melted cheese. Ricotta Bake (the world according to eggface is a great resource).

Cjonorcas had some great ideas for the pureed stage.
I just wanted to add hummus... I think I lived in that stuff for a while.
The sooner you kick the carbs out (imho oatmeal falls into this category, too) the easier the cravings will be when they come back. And they do come back.
I understand it's part of your docs plan, but one of the many things I've learned from the vets here on this board is that the NUTS haven't actually walked the walk, or lived WLS like the vets in this board have.

What you have in those first few weeks (up to 8 or so) like perhaps a cracker or mashed potatoes things like that on some lists are on there because the couple of tablespoons in the scheme of things isn't going to do too much damage but I just caution once you can eat solids to remember to focus on the protein and let some of those higher carb, slider type foods go or at the least limit them.
