On week I was still on soft foods. I did a lot ground turkey & chicken w/ broth, protein shakes, cottage cheese, low fat yogurt, cheese and soups. Nothing very exciting. I'm sure others have better foods you might be more interested in.

Good Afternoon! At that point I was loving ricotta bake (theworldaccordingtoeggfaces recipe), chili, refried beans, cottage cheese and things like that. Good luck!

At five weeks I liked Greek yogurt, cottage cheese and tuna. The only thing I eat now off that list is the tuna.

I'm at 7 weeks right now and Im eating so much. I feel like i've won the RNY lottery. Other than some sugar, my stomach can tolerate everything. But only little bits. My daily caloric intake is about 650 - 800 calories per day.

I try to have protein shakes in the morning so I can start the say off right. I love spaghetti sauce with lots of veggies and meat, beef stew, and I know this sounds boring, but I buy a rotisserie chicken, shred it and stuff a baggie of it in my purse with grape tomatoes and cheese for quick munching and snacks when i get hungry. Also with leftover chicken I make chicken pot pie with quinoa as the crust. The family loves it and its super healthy. Good luck!

By week 5 I was on all regular food except salad... What I like changes, I go through phases. If you want ideas...look at the daily menu post and you will see what people are eating...

My basic meats are still steak and chicken done in the cast iron skillet with a drizzle of Olive oil in the pan- salt and pepper for the steak and cajun seasoning on the chicken.

I've been enjoying a really easy shredded pork using pork loin...I do it in the Instant Pot pressure cooker but you could do it in a crockpot or stove top... Cut pork loin into about 4 chunks and brown. Once browned season with a medium amount of Adobo, small amount of cumin and lots of chili powder...add 1 cup salsa verde (more if on stove top because it will evaporate) and coo****il tender and shreddable. I see how moist it is and add more salsa at this point as needed.... so good.
