Good morning menu friends!! Have a said before how ready I am for summer?!?! They are calling for severe weather again here this afternoon. Hail, wind etc all of the nasty stuff. So yesterday French fries may have snuck into my meal and I felt like total poop after eating them. Not sure if it was how I inhaled them or if it was because of them just being fried and nasty.
QOTD- I would own a gourmet kitchen. I love to cook and my food is really good. I would love to be able to share with everyone and not just my family.
Time since surgery 1 year -- 143.2 this morning
B- 1/2 Scrambled egg and 1 piece of bacon
L- 2 oz Grilled chicken with 1 tsp Italian dressing
D- 2 oz Hamburger Patty with A.1
S- Bacon bits

QOTD: I think I would do some sort of Hallmark type store. Always so much fun to wander through those type of stores.

B: SF latte, eggbeaters with roasted red pepper, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links
L: Spaghetti squash casserole (grilled chicken, shredded mozzarella and Alfredo sauce) and baby carrots
S: SF latte, Siggi mixed berry yogurt and jerky
D: Buddig beef pack lettuce wraps, and a boiled egg
E: 3.25 miles and 30 mins elliptical ran this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch
V/W: On track

I am not sure which is worse on OH the phone or the laptop for photos.... I wish they would let you load directly into the post instead of having to put it in your profile... I can do it on the laptop by copying and pasting from FB....anyway....

Happy Thursday! Nice short week for me, woot woot!
QOTD: I would probably own a restaurant... something fresh, farm to table, with quirky twists on good old fashioned Southern Cooking... mashed cauliflower instead of potatoes, faux breading for the chicken fry... no sugar added/ almond flour crust apple pie for dessert... I know this wouldn't fly in Oklahoma, but in Austin, or some other very cool city, I think it could be most awesome!
So when I wanted to leave my ex husband, but was still in the planning phases, my ultimate goal was to get my ass to Austin as quickly as possible and raise my kids there... Well, I stalled out in Oklahoma, of all places, all in the name of love. I think after seeing me in Austin this past week, Dude knows he'd better be nice, or I'm running away! Hahaha... I still want to live there. Perhaps a bit further out than I had originally dreamed, but I love that area so much! Texas roots run deep in this child (who was born in PA, but TX is my heart-home).
So, I was worried about posting my new low number yesterday, especially since I hadn't weighed in 4 days... but happy to say scale was holding nicely at 145.8 this morning... even after I deliberately tried to talk myself in to eating things I didn't need yesterday... I didn't completely do it (taste this taste that), but I stressed over it. WTF brain, go away and leave me alone already about food!!
B: On my coffee now... Mmmmmm it's dang cold here this morning 47!
B2: sous vide egg bites... bacon and cheddar
L: We have our annual Realtor Luncheon today... it'll be at Charleston's. They have some great things I can choose from, the only real issues will be the appetizers I know that will be ordered for the entire table, and the homemade croissants smothered in sweet butter that they send with each plate of food... I will ask that I don't see that croissant, and I feel confident about that part... but those appetizers will be harder to not taste... here's to spoonfuls of spinach/artichoke dip and no chips to go with it!!!
D: Threw some chicken in the crockpot with this shredded chicken mix packet thing I picked up. I don't usually use things like this, but it was on clearance and had good stats... hoping it has good taste too. I'll make black beans and pick up tortillas. I'll just make a bowl of it and be good.
Forgot my patches this morning! Will put them on when I get home and just sleep in them.
