Good morning menu folks!

I am still adjusting to being back in the office. It certainly makes be tireder than working from home. Thankfully I usually telework 2 days a week anyway, so tomorrow it is back to working in my slippers!

QOTD: I'm not business minded so I could never run a store, but if I did, it would be an indie book store.

Breakfast: Spinach-mushroom egg muffin, cottage cheese

Snack: protein shake

Lunch: Chicken Tikka Masala and zoodles

Snack: Greek yogurt

Dinner: Salmon and riced cauliflower

Exercise: A short walk on my morning break and 30-40 minutes on the treadmill

Good Morning JB and Menu Family,

Have a wonderful time on your date, GrimBerry! Sounds like fun!

QOTD: I don't think this would really qualify as a "store", but I would have an animal shelter full of adorable doggies & kitties people could adopt. Or maybe a shelter for "unadoptable" or hard-to-adopt pets, like 3-legged dogs, senior pets, blind, deaf and other special needs pets. Yes, I think that's what I would like to do.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

L: chili cheese dog

D: taco meat, cheese, sour cream on 1/2 flour tortilla

S: light n fit Greek yogurt

Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision

Have a Fantastic Thursday everyone!

~ Karen

I love that!! I have often thought about in adopting the 'unadoptable' dogs/cats like seniors or ones that have just been in the shelter way too long.

Good for you, Ymaliz! All my dogs have been rescues. Blossom had been waiting 3 months for a home when we adopted her. Tippy's owner died suddenly and Tippy needed a new home so that's how we got her.

I would like to have a clothing store. A dress shop. I used to love when we would just go to dinner you would get dressed up. I miss that. I still dress up and don't care if I am overdressed.

Our society has really made casual the name of the game, hasn't it? I'm with ya on strutting the dresses more often, no matter what the occasion! (now I just need to actually do it! I keep buying dresses now, but not wearing them as much as I could!)
