What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning!
Back to the office! Moving day is coming fast and I'm exhausted.
I'm super annoyed at eBay right now. I'm trying to sell some stuff pre-move so I posted my very first items to eBay. Last night I got an email that my monitor had sold. Yay! So I packed it up and was prepping my shipping label. I had followed all their recommendations in the posting, including "free shipping" since the price I listed minus the 10-15 dollars in estimated shipping still seemed reasonable. Well. Come to find out their estimated shipping price was way off. MY shipping price was $45. They told me oh well too bad enter the dimensions and weight next time. My only options now are to cancel my pending sale or to see if the buyer will agree to pay half the shipping. GRRRRR.
QOTD: up until a couple months ago I would have said bakery. I'm known for my cakes and pies. I did a friend's wedding cake once and everyone at the reception said I should go into business. I'd post a pic but I don't think that's what people need on the menu thread. Not sure what I'll do with my pastry chef skills in my post-op life....
Plan:
Breakfast: coffee with 2 oz premier protein.
Snack: 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 2 banana nut protein mini muffins.
Lunch: eggface cauliflower "mac" & cheese
Snack: 1/2 cup Greek yogurt with scoop of protein powder.
Dinner: griller's prime veggie patty and protein fudge
Exercise: spin class
Totals:
Calories: 806; protein: 91; carbs: 42
JB, well done resisting the tots! Grim doesn't know what he's talking about. Tots are delicious.

Hey just a thought on the monitor, Did you check UPS/FEDEX prices against USPS? USPS is almost WAY more on bigger items like that. It could save you some real dollars. I've had a store on ebay for a long long time.
Canceling the sale will get you a ding against seller account but you probably already know that. :)
mmmmmpie
Good morning! Yesterday I did well with the no candy thing, I did eat 6 pb filled pretzel nuggets which meant I may as well have eaten candy but progress yes? Here's to a day of no added carbs. Say a prayer.
Qotd- probably either a consignment shop or floral shop. I have zero talent with floral arranging but I love flowers. I do however have talent with bargain shopping and it's so fun!

They lie. Those pretzels are not filled with PB they are filled with crack! I'm sure of it...
Actually funny (somewhat horrifying story) about those. My coworker and I used to eat those a lot and she kept them in her bottom desk drawer. We had a mouse in the office that got into them and did some serious munching. When they caught him finally that was the FATTEST MOUSE you could imagine. Lol. Carbs are not good for anyone...
I'm quite the bargain shopper too, and I'm lucky in that I find the best things when I go thrift shopping ALONE... when my friends are with me, my luck is much less... wonder why that is?
I swear I get an adrenaline rush on days that I am seriously thrift shopping... it's such a high to find great bargains!
PB pretzels... Oh my... I saw them not too long ago, and I really had to talk to myself about them. I kept thinking they'd be a great treat for the kids... Um, no Pamela... those suckers would be ALL in your belly!!!
Yay on the no sugar! That's one huge step!
