Mornin', it's all I have today.... So sick yesterday. I chugged a bunch of water about 2 hours after lunch and I felt like I just ate a cow. I was in so much pain, I left work early and had to pull over on my way home to throw up. So miserable. I felt better last night, but after drinking coffee this morning, I am back to feeling horrible again and every muscle in my body hurts. I'm at the office for a few hours to finish up some work because I am off tomorrow for a couple Dr's appts including a root canal, yay me...
QOTD - What store would I have? I loved stationary stores when I was a kid too. I loved the all the colored pens and markers, but mainly I loved the stickers. If I had a store....it would probably be a flower shop. I would love to be surrounded by the amazing scents and beautiful flowers. I would really enjoy being creative, arranging them and decorating the shop all day long, Ahhh.

QOTD: I used to love stationery shops when I was a kid!!
Right now, there's no way I'd own a store - TOO MUCH WORK - but if I did, it would probably be a book store (although now with amazon, that's a tough go....). The part of my job I love the most (I'm a librarian) is buying books (in fact, I'm doing that right now!), so I could definitely see myself doing that even more - slamming coffee while reading book reviews and ordering books...ah - that's the life!!
21 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt with fresh strawberries
S: coffee with half & half, SF protein mocha latte
L: not sure. Going to a retirement party/potluck - but I'll be careful!!
D: chicken salad & spinach leaves in a Flat Out Wrap (probably half - with a vegetable or orange)

Happy Thursday! Date night sounds great, JB! And congrats on the tots . . . I love tots (sorry Grim). The weather here is in the 70's today and I can't wait for the weekend.
JBQOTD - I'm with you on the stationary store. There's a store here called Paper Source and they have the best paper and craft goods. If I wasn't a lawyer, I'd be a party planner, and a stationary store fits right in.
My plan:
B: Ham and cheese roll up (2.5 oz ham, 1 oz cheese); 4 oz fairlife milk
L: Chicken breast (3.25 oz) cabbage slaw
D: Tuna
S: Skinny Vanilla Latte/almonds after the gym
I have to have some lab work done and I'm meeting one of my surgeon's other revision patients for coffee before I head back to work. She was amazingly helpful before my surgery last year and we've talked but never met in person. Should be fun!

Paper Source is my JAM! Like literally my favorite space on the planet. I own so much of their stuff that I could open an annex out of my upstairs :)
Late post for me today. I didn't even check in yesterday. I've changed my screen name. Long story. Thank you, Pat R. for checking in with me. Y'all are a great group of people.
I've had some crazy things going on in my personal life this week, and it's almost coming to a crest, of sorts. Please send some good thoughts/vibes/prayers/swinging chickens to my kids and myself over the next few days. We're finally getting a new start.
QOTD: I would probably own a shoe store/clothing store. Something retail. There is just something to be said about the look on someones face when they find a great deal/bargain on something that would be great for them. I would also like to be a personal stylist/makeup artist type person in my own setting...so...maybe have a makeup counter, or be the lady that anyone could ask, "Does this look alright?" in such store.
