Stall at 5 months. Iron infusion making me retain water?
I'm so close to onederland I can taste it. I've been hanging around at 203-205 for about 2 weeks now. I'm wondering if the iron infusion I had last week is making me retain water, or if I really am at a stall? I had my first of 3 Venofer infusions last week (1 a week for 3 weeks). No major side effects except constipation and possibly water retention. On a good note, my hands are warm for the first time in months. I'm not sure if the infusions can work that quickly, but I'll take it!
BTW, no major changes in my eating. I did have one run in with some grahm crackers and peanut butter one evening but it wasn't a total binge--one full cracker with about a tablespoon of peanut butter. I cannot have those in my house anymore. Exercise is about the same, although I did kick it up a notch.
Any insight would be appreciated!

Onderland alluded me for weeks. I hovered at 201 -203 for weeks, might drop to 199 something and the next day be back in the 2s. I waited for a couple of weigh-ins to declare my success.
It is very possibly your iron infusion, especially if its causing constipation....maybe you need to have a good poop! But it could also be a stall....just keep doing what you're doing (minus the graham cracker) and you'll break through into onederland!
good luck
I found I got stuck around the same places I hovered on the way up over the years. If I hovered for a few years at 202 you can bet I hovered on the way down for a bit. Not for years but it was like my body has comfortable places and it stopped at those along the way. Just keep doing what your doing and following your doctors plan and it will happen! Don't get discouraged if you get to onederland just to have it shoot back up the next day! It still counts! which scale, water retention, the way the winds blowing, and if my dog is putting his paw on the back of the scale all seems to make a difference

The art of weighing oneself. :) When I don't like a number I see on the scale, sometimes I move the scale to a different part of the floor because the floor isn't totally even in our bathroom. What stinks is when you move it and then get an even higher number! Then my daughter runs in and asks me why I'm yelling naughty words at 6 in the morning, lol.
This made me snort!
