Good Morning!

Day 5 of dreariness and it's cold! :(

QOTD: too funny, I went to a Catholic school at that age. These were some bad ass nuns!! I specifically remember their rosary bead belts, huge beads--egg sized and the pointer that doubled as a spanking tool!!

6+ months out (yesterday worked well so we'll do it again!)

B: coffee w/ sf coffee-mate, scrambled w/ deli ham and cheese

L: shrimp

D: venison Italian sausage w/onions, peppers and mushrooms

Cal: 705 Prot: 78 Carb: 25

The scale is as miserable as the weather...

That was it for Catholic school for me!! By the time my brother was ready for Kindergarten the public school system had it. I did have to deal with those nuns for weekly religious education until I was 14, ugh... Didn't stop my trouble making days, LOL!!

Mmmm...tater tots

QOTD: Funny Kindergarten is one of the few grades I do have memories of... The Kindergarten classroom was in a separate building and up a hill... so we would have to walk that all the time. It was only half a day.... I do remember learning to start reading 'C-A-T is cat' haha....and I remember K graduation... and going to the diner with My Mom and my friends and their Moms....

Waiting on someone's arrival for an early morning work meeting...They are perpetually late so they should have been here 20 minutes ago....

B: Coffee w/miralax/fairlife Scrambles eggs, cheese, bacon bits

S: Tuna on Wasa,

L: Grilled chicken with Tandoori spice, carrots and celery

D: Shrimp scampi on zoodles

S: Chai latte, greek yogurt

Good morning everyone!

Cold morning here but the sun is shining so I'll take it. We're heading out later this morning to finish up some errands from yesterday and then driving out to see his parents later this afternoon.

Last night I spent a few hours with my sister, we went for a walk and out to a hockey game, and every time we get together now she ends up asking some food/diet/exercise related question. I few months ago she asked to try some of the protein powders I've been using so I gave her some samples and she reported back that she preferred the one she had been using for that past 2 years. The one with the label she hadn't really read. The one with 5g of protein and 20g of sugar. Since that realization has she made some changes and has lost 10 lbs so now I'm the 'expert'. Hahahaha. So very far from it but I like talking about all things health related these days and it makes me happy to see her feeling good about herself too. I've noticed her noticing me lately and especially as I get closer to her in weight (there's about 30lbs between us now) I want to make sure our relationship stays solid. I'm not really worried but I know it happens to I want to keep on top of it.

QOTD In kindergarten my best friend was Chrissy and her aunt was our teacher. Our school was very small (it has since been purchased from the school board and turned into a house) and Chrissy's family owned the farm directly across the road. Her aunt lived in a house right beside it and I remember thinking that she must have loved school so much because she wanted to be a teacher and live right beside a school.

B- coffee w/ 1/2 chocolate premier

L- chicken thighs

D- destination unknown

S- turkey slices

Have a great day!

I started to have issues with my sister when I about matched her weight and weight loss recently... She has since told me that I really inspired her! She has been working her tail off with diet and exercise and is ahead of me once more! I am really proud of her and her #1 fan.

Your post was one of the ones that made me aware of it as a potential issue and I'm so happy to hear that you are feeling good about things now. It's awesome to have family in this with you!
