What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning! I am in a very good mood this week because 1. My scale is moving in the right direction 2. TMI- I have pooped 4 days in a row....I never knew how much I took for granted pooping normally and 3. This is a short work week for me; no work on Friday!
QOTD- I remember my apple falling from the tree once because I told a girl thank you and didn't realize the teacher had put her finger over her mouth signaling us to be quiet. That was our version of turning your card. It really upset me because I wasn't the type to get in trouble. But it only happened once lol. I remember a lot actually but that is what comes to mind first.
Menu:
m1- protein shake with fair life milk (28, 160)
m2- egg custard (10, 145)
m3- babybel (6, 50)
m4- chicken salad (10, 100)
m5- PB2 (5, 45) and fair life milk (13, 80)
Totals (72 g, 580) I guess I need to add something else to get to 80 g of protein....really trying to go to only one shake a day!

Good Morning JB and everyone!
I am with you JB! I woke up to snow and ice this morning. I am so done with March and am counting on April. I just feel like it won't warm up until Summer.
QOTD: The thing I remember most was the first day of Kindergarten and crying getting on the school bus even though my older brother and sister were there with me. I sat on a neighbors lap all the way to school. Once in Kindergarten class the crying continued and since my teacher knew my mother exstemely well, she let me sit in her lap all morning. What a crybaby, right, lol! I remember taking our naps and getting cartons of milk when we got up. Also remember going out to the playground and getting on the Merry-go- round.
It must run in the family, regarding kindergarten, because the first day my oldest daughter went, she came home with a swollen foot. Took her to the ER and found she had broken her foot. Come to find out, she had gotten her foot caught under a piece of playground equipment, but no one realized she really hurt herself....nonetheless, I went directly to the school to loudly come when we left the hospital. She was in a cast for 6 weeks.
Isn't kindergarten great, lol!

Nothing Tastes as Good as Healthy Feels!
Yay for Wednesday! My week is almost up!!! So happy! It's my Thursday!
DH brought me home some more romaine!, spinach, and 4! kinds of tomatoes. I'm going to do 3 in an upside down planter and 1 (the BIG one) in the garden box. It is really shaping up out there. I'm going to have romaine apparently on a daily basis there is so much. Can't wait to plant the other guys but it will be after mid april to get the rest in.
Taking dogs in late afternoon to get shots. Then I REALLY need my hair trimmed. My bangs are in an in between stage, I don't know what to do with them but pinning them back I think is showing my age more because of wrinkles on forehead.
QOTD: we had moved to a small town in south georgia, grandparents/parents didn't want me going to public school there. So I went to a special academy private school for kindergarten. I remember my graduation and being called a cabbage patch by older kids. I thought it was a compliment until my mom said they were making fun of me because I was overweight.
Food yesterday- banana prot muffin, raw milk yogurt, cashew milk, miralax, 2 oz gizzards, 1.5 oz ribs, romaine, crack chicken, asparagus, cytosport whey, cashew milk, dried seaweed, salsa, more yogurt, cabbage
stats: 792 ish
prot: 93
carb 42
weight maintenance- 119.2
today's food:
coffee/whey powder/yogurt/sloppy joe leftover/asparagus from last night/turkey bacon/whatever else i can find to clean out fridge. I need to cook up the cabbage and freeze it or pickle it. not sure what I will do but won't be tossing it out.
Come on warmer weather! I'm planning on changing my closets to the Spring/Summer closet this afternoon even if the weather is not cooperating. I'll just add a sweater to the outfit each day.
QOTD: My K memory is a strange one. It was 1964 when I was in kindergarten and I had received the coolest pair of white go-go boots. It was muddy outside coming back from recess and I literally got stuck in the mud and walked right out of those go-go boots. Strange the things we remember.

I just had another K memory involving shoes. All my shoes were buckle or slip on type (go go boots) so when it came time to learn to tie shoes I had to practice on one of our "farm-boys" who always wore little work boots. Well I unfortunately tied his laces in a knot and the little bugger cursed me out. I don't remember if he got in trouble, but I didn't get my name on a construction paper shoe on the wall for a long time.
