Good morning everyone... it's been a while. Great to hear all of your stories. Celebrated my one year surgeverssary last month. Loving life.
I picked a bad day to check in; as I'm scheduled for a colonoscopy tomorrow and you're all making me hungry. Have any of you had one of these? A little worried about how I will react to not having protein and drinking juice for the first time.
The love of my life was my classmate, so we have know each other since we were 11, officially started dating in college for 9 years, now married for almost 17 years... now I feel old. Our first date was probably at around 13, we hung out at his place with some friends, first kiss and he walked me home in the rain... so cute! It's impossible to recreate that innocent, romantic kiss in the rain; I know I've tried. lol.
On liquids today, so no counting. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning JB and crew!
QOTD: Okay long story but I will abbreviate. I was in a bad marriage... okay a horrible marriage. Just got out of it and my therapist said he had a friend who needed a place to put her bus. The minute I met her I knew she was different... I had been so wrapped up in having my life look the right way and she did not care one bit how her life looked. True love.
B: Fairlife with coffee and Miralax, Premier Protein with more coffee
L: 6 Beef jeeky coins, Dannon greek peach yogurt
D: Hmmm. Going to Seattle for my 6-mo checkup. Sashimi maybe
S: Syntrax something with water, diet cran something with water
No totals today. I am completely hooked on beef jerky. I was planning to talk to my NUt about it but that appointment got cancelled bc she is sick this week. So I only have my PA appointment. Any advice out there? These beef jerky coins are easy, they don't bother my stomach, they are easily counted (6 is an ounce), and they fill me up for a while. When I was at the farm this weekend I had 12 over the course of a day, and it was my snack and lunch. I am finding that the more narrow my menu, the less interested I am in food which is good for me.
Have a great day everyone!

Not all beef jerky is created equal... it depends on how it is cured. Check for carbs and sodium and log it all into MFP and see whether it fits your macros for the day.
