What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?
oh no - what disappointing news about your mom - I was hoping this ordeal was finally over for you guys!! Hopefully this second tumor is very early stage and she can finally be rid of this!!!
I'm in a jury selection room *right now*!! Fortunately, all the trials this week will be one-day affairs (they told us), so no months-long thing or sequestration. Although it would certainly be much more interesting to be on some big murder trial than on some DWI trial, which is what most of them are (and what the ones this week probably are). I was on a jury for a DWI trial a few years ago. It's interesting to learn about the whole legal process, but the case itself was not all that interesting....
Glad to see you here friend. I can't even imagine being sequestered and the emotional toll on both of you. Hope you both get a chance to take a relaxing day and a deep breath together. Continuing to lift you and your Mom and family up... praying for strength and peace in this hard journey.
See you are still loving on your tuna :)

It's our last week in Florida. I wish I was already retired and could stay another month, but I have to work and we already have many appointments set up for the first 2 weeks of April. I am off work today as DD is here until early afternoon. This afternoon I need to do bills and get organized for the last tiling days and leaving for home on Friday. The itinerary is planned so I feel good about that
QOTD: I had to go back and see when I joined OH: It was 12/6/2015, 4 days after my first appointment @ the surgeon, which is the day I heard about OH. I also made my first posting that day asking about what works in maintenance (what will be different from maintenance after dieting). I posted questions periodically until I hit goal, but mostly just read and searched for information. I didn't start jumping in regularly until that point. I joined the VSG maintenance group in early October and started posting here fairly regularly a month or 2 later.
B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese
L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: 1/2 cheeseburger, broccoli
S: protein chips, protein bar

Good morning! It's Teena Aka Daizymom. I took a little break for personal reasons and I'm back with a new username.
Under my old account, I actually signed up in 2006. I've been thinking about WLS since I was pregnant with my youngest so I guess I joined here then but I don't think I posted. I forgot all about this site actually. Found it in a google search last year and was surprised I already had a profile. But I jumped in right away after that.
Weekend was busy. I worked ot on Saturday. Then I took pics of all the clothes I've shrunk out of and posted on our buy and sell by the end of today if all the pick ups come through I will have made $70 and I still have more. Yesterday my family all got together at my sister's to celebrate my brother's 40th birthday.
It's a wet day here today. I felt bad waking hubby up for a drive to the station but I'm a weather wimp and really didn't want to walk in the rain.
I updated my measurements last night and I've lost 31 inches including 7 off my waist and 7 off my hips. Today I'm wearing a size 18 curvy jeans from Old Navy! Down 53 lbs total and 39.8 since surgery.
Today's Menu:
B: Protein Shake made with Natrel Lactose Free Milk this may be the closest we have to Fairlife. It has 13 grams of protein and 8 carbs per 1 cup.
L. Chicken salad (just chicken, mayo and salt and pepper)
D: Bratwurst Sausage
S: If I have room and calories, protein egg custard
have a great day everyone. It's good to be back. JB- glad Grim's flight went well and yay for saving time on your commute and spending time with your parents!
Hi Teena! Glad to see you back and it sounds like you are doing well! Curious: Did you have to start a new account or could you just change your Username?

You can change your display name but your log in name stays the same I think.
