What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Quick drive by posting as we're home for a minute from camping. We decided yesterday evening to drive to the local state park and camp til Wednesday. QOTD I joined here and started posting 2 months before I had my surgery. My surgeons office suggested the site . I love the forced accountability and planning on the menu thread and credit this bunch for my success to lose all my weight plus some and stay there for almost 4 years--so thank you All! Lily and I did close to 4 miles today at the park. Post op 4 years 7 months on the 29th and weight at 117 even today. Here's the food plan for maintenance B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz stea**** and 1/4 c cottage cheese D 1 c pot roast (meat and carrots) S mission one chocolate brownie protein bar. Have a great day everyone and make some smart and conscious choices that move you one step closer to your goal! I'll post again when I can.
Good morning! I just have to share because it feels very good to be able to say this - I finally made it back to "one-derland" :) I still have quite a ways to go but it's encouraging to be back in the 100's after all these years!
QOTD: I think I lurked for about a week or maybe less. I'm shy so it takes me a little while to dip my toe in the water haha. So glad I did though. I couldn't ask for a better group of people to support and be supported by!
B: syntrax shake
L: syntrax shake
D: soup? Maybe leftover egg muffin? Not sure yet haha
S: baby bell cheese or cottage cheese
V:patches (multi, iron, calcium/d3, omega)

Have a wonderful Monday, everyone!!!

Egg whites went good for me. I chewed them really well and put just a little salsa on them. Thanks for the tip.

Good evening darn missed afternoon by just a few minutes! Today begins a long week today I was actually in my office today but the rest of the week I will be commuting to one of my branch offices about 1.5 hours away which is fine but my boss and a coworker will be with so me who knows how long into the trip before I will want to pull the car over and tell them to get out...
QOTD: I lurked for quite sometime before I felt comfortable posting anything and if I am honest I still am a little shy because I can be a little sarcastic and worry about people getting my sarcasm/humor. It was people like JB, Grim, Daisy, AV, Karen, Peachpie, Elizabeth, Deanna and Kakesie just to name a few of you but so many of you have made such an impact on my life and my journey that I can not imagine you not being part of it. Everyday I look forward to that part of my day when I can read how you all are doing the good, the bad, the happy and the sad. You all are part of journey a sisterhood/brotherhood that no one but you all understand and it means the world to me.
Ok off my love fest and onto the food of the day:
B: 3 slices of bacon and decaf tea
L: 2 slices of ham, slice of cheese, dilly pickle chips (my new secret obsession)
S: Sargento Balanced Break
D: kielbasa and sauerkraut
Have a evening and if I do not get a chance to get on the next few days enjoy them!!! Love to you all....
