What's on your Sunday Menu RNYer?
I have been up for 2 hours and have manged to down my morning latte and pop about a TBSP of homemade almond butter fudge into my mouth...faux carbs are like zombies in my life, the more eat them the more recipes keep popping up on FB, Pinterest, instagram etc for them....and I feel compelled to try...
Except for White Christmas I haven't seen any of your movies....
Movies I could watch multiple times- Godfather series- If you live in NY it is a requirement for residency
Tombstone, The untouchables, The Killing fields, Full Metal jacket, The Fugitive
Then the fluff- Big fat Greek Wedding, Legally Blonde series, Father of the Bride Series- Steve Martin.
I never really go to the movies.... So out of the current loop on this...
B: Coffee Latte w/ miralax and fairlife milk. TBSP chocolate almond butter/fudge scrambled eggs cheese and bacon bits

L: salad with grilled chicken and Cesar dressing
D:Maybe fish and stir fry veggies.
S: Chocolate chai latte, mug cake and greek yogurt (not fighting it)
Trying to add veggies to lunch and dinner

Happy Sunday Menu Family! Had such a great time in Boston and the Celtics game was great. We had fun full disclosure I did indulge in an adult beverage only the 2nd or 3rd time since surgery boy one small margarita at the garden and I was feeling it, oh how the times have changed!
Today is a day of laundry, cleaning and watching training videos. Next week we are in training for four days so I will be traveling to one of my branch offices so it will be another busy one...
QOTD: In our house any movie that you start to flip on and just can't turn off we call it getting Shawshank'd so my list would be The Replacements, Remember, The Wedding Singer, Almost Famous, Christmas Vacation, Son In Law and Grease.
Food for the day:
B: 1 scrambled egg and 2 slices of bacon plus lots and lots of tea
L: ham and cheese
S: have not decided yet
D: cheese burger and salad
Have a great Sunday friends!

Good morning everyone!
Yesterday was rainy here and I was so lazy in the afternoon that I just hit the couch and powered through a few more episodes of Grace and Frankie. This morning I was up early to get a jump on being productive and with more rain in the forecast I'll probably enjoy a little more couch time later today.
QOTD So many movies come to mind. If I was forced to pick one I would say The Usual Suspects with Kevin Spacey. "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist." The Shawshank Redemption is right up there too.
My BFF and I share a love for quoting from movies but they're mainly silly comedies and we have entire conversations that revolve around quoting movies like Dumb and Dumber, Liar Liar, Spaceballs, Happy Gilmore etc. We've got a lot of favourites from Forrest Gump and SlapShot too.
Confession: I've never seen The Princess Bride and apparently I'm missing out.
B- coffee w/ 1/2 chocolate premier
L- leftover 1/2 burger w/ goat cheese and roasted red peppers
D- whatever I can find in the freezer
S- 1/2 chocolate premier in coffees, homemade turkey jerky
Have a great Sunday!
Christine
Definitely missing out! I wonder though how it holds up, if you don't have a sentimental attachment to it.
I watched Ferris Buellers day off as an adult, and I think it's an absolutely terrible movie hahah. Maybe if I saw it as a kid, I'd feel different.

I feel that way about A Christmas Story. I know lots of people love it but I didn't see it until a couple years ago so no sentimental attachment. I didn't think it was terrible but didn't get the hype.
