I used to not be very outdoorsy, but I think it was mostly because of my weight. I got way too hot and sweaty in the summer (and we have very cold winters here in Wisconsin, so that was as bad as the summer - if not worse!). Heat doesn't bother me much anymore. I'm not into that many outdoor activities (like camping), but I love eating al fresco in the summer and I love sitting by water (we have four lakes in town). I also love day trips when everything is green - we have rolling hills in this part of the state, and everything is so green and lush!

I bought some matcha tea powder last night so I could try making matcha tea protein shakes. Good Lord - I'm going to have to limit these. I sucked the whole thing down in a half hour - I usually sip on shakes all day! Granted, matcha tea is really good for you - but that many calories in 30 minutes is not!!

21 months out

B: homemade Greek yogurt, fresh strawberries

S: matcha green tea protein/Miralax shake (maybe coffee with half & half later)

L: meeting a friend at a Mexican place. Probably two tacos - or a fajita (meat & veggies only)

D: pork stir fry (with mushrooms and bell peppers - no rice)

probably more yogurt if I can afford the calories

ex: 7:30 am yoga class this morning!

I love matcha green tea too! I just saw a special about it and it has so much more healthy benefits than green tea(given all the health benefits green tea has).

I've read that as well. It's made from high-quality tea leaves - plus you're getting them ground up into a powder rather than steeped in water and then tossed - so it's pretty much green tea on steroids!

Happy Saturday, Insert Fitness and Everyone!

I have given up on Spring here.

I looking forward to spending time in our pool this year because last year we had issues with it and by the time we had everything set, it was time to close it up for the winter. Love to eat out on our deck under the gazebo. I just enjoy being in the yard with my furbabies and planting some flowers. I also have started enjoying going for walks. Might try some hiking with my hubby this summer.

Menu:

Breakfast: 2 eggs, 2 oz ham and 2 slices 2% American cheese

Lunch: 1 cup lettuce w/ 4 oz fajita chicken, 1 oz cheese and FF ranch dressing

Dinner: 4 oz baked chicken and rice D veggies

Have a great weekend everyone.

Hello everyone,

QOTD: I am outdoorsy to a limited extent. When I was in boy scouting I was outdoors all the time and I think I got burned out on all the bugs that get in the food and juice. Now I spend my time outside when I am using my smoker and grills but I won't eat outside(the bugs and mosquitos!) I also liked spending time outside when I was exercising on my bicycle during my last weigh loss and now I can't wait to get back to cycling! Hopefully when it's starts to get a little bit warmer I will have lost enough weight (and my knees can take it) to get back on my bike.

B: 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, slice of cheese

L: 3oz turkey breast

Enjoy the rest of your day everybody!

Hello all - late post from me today. I have been running around since 8 o'clock this morning. Went to look at a house to buy this morning and unfortunately that didn't go as I had hoped, So it looks like I will be staying put for a while. Then I went shopping with a friend of mine, we are on our way back now.

QOTD: I love the outdoors, I like to fish either from a boat or from shore. I love to go camping, and hope to get more camping in this year than I did last year.

2 premier protein shakes

1/2 light progreso chicken enchilada soup
