It is harder to lose later on then it was during the honeymoon period. I think that is why so many stress that there really is a honeymoon faze.
Losing weight later is hard. But it is doable. There are many here who have lost their regain.
For me coming here to give support and get it is crucial for myself to stay in mindset that the surgery wasn't a cure all.
Old habits can come back so easily. We think I can eat that and this. But in actuality we can't.
You can lose regain. You really can. Tracking what you are eating does make us accountable. Also maybe seek the help of a therapist. The surgery was on our stomachs and not our heads.
Take it one meal at a time. Come here and stay here. The vets here really do want to help. Even newbies do also.
Being tied together by one thread of being MO does help us understand more so than the other humans who do not have weight issues.
Life can be really hard sometimes. Stress can happen. But it happens to all of us.
Remember you deserve to be happy and healthy.
