Good morning. So while Norm Abrahms is my favorite woodworker, I'd have to go with Rocco Dispirito for my chef choice right now. He has this show (it's actually from 2012/13) called Now Eat This - where he takes everyday food and makes it healthy. I really learn a lot from those episodes. I keep hinting to my wife to buy me the series of books as a gift, but nothing yet. I will admit I like watching the Pioneer Woman, but mostly because I think she's cute. But I do like her recipes. Now if we go cutest chef outright - no one touches Katie Lee. But enough about that ;)
B - Fage and 3 tbs nuts/granola I mix together
L - Leftover cucumber thai basil chicken from dinner
S - Premier choc shake; Tillamook beef jerky 1oz
D - We are going out tonight to Heng Wing, so I'm looking forward to my Chinese omelette and some egg drop soup. Tastes just like a chinese dinner, but much higher in protein. They make it for me with no oil and no sauce and no msg. I will admit to sneaking 2 small bites of an almond cookie while I'm there, before my wife will steal the rest.
The picture of me is from 3.5 years ago when I was in Budapest for a meeting and they wanted a company photo for a digital directory. I was 100 pounds heavier in that pic than I am now. The other picture is what my wife made to give to our dog Brandy. She's almost 14 and has Lupus and advanced liver disease. She won't eat much, so my wife makes her dinner and it looks like this. Man to be a dog in a Jewish house!

And yes I had to nuke it for 45 seconds and chop everything up. Because that's the way Brandy like's it. And I do pour a little chicken broth on it. Why, because it might be too dry for her without it. Those were the directions left for me - my wife went out last night with the girls. Oh NSV too yesterday - when I picked up the girls (dogs) at daycare I normally call and they walk them out to the car for me. I went into the place and waited in line for 10 minutes to get them. I think I freaked out the owner, but she did have a smile on her face seeing me come in vs. waiting in the car.
That's a HUGE NSV!!!! Congratulations!!!!!

And we had to make a special Costco run Sunday to pick up the meat. I was actually told - "Don't eat these - they are for Brandy." Really? Actually i wouldn't because they are 80/20 and I usually eat leaner cuts. But they do look so good. I took the plate out of the fridge, snapped that picture and texted her that I was going to give Brandy my Thai food and eat that plate. But Brandy is just so finicky and she needs to keep up her strength. The vet said Brandy's last year of life is solely due to all these efforts my wife is taking with her. It's worth it.
Oh and Brandy didn't eat the mashed potatoes. So Oreo was very happy because she gets dog food, if you can call it that. Because as you can see the edge of the can in the picture, it is human food grade dog food. It's beef with pumpkin and sweet potato. Though the measuring cup is Oreo's crunchers (because, as we all know they need texture when they eat). That is regular hard dog food, but I think it is prescription food. So probably costs more than my Thai dinner.
You have such a confident great smile in that picture!!!!!
And that food porn, doggie food or not, looks so good!!! (Love the touch of cheese on top Hahaha!)
