The gyro sounds amazing...and I definitely have a weak spot for Greek/Mediterranean food. I did what I called 'my farewell tour'...didn't go crazy, but did have a few things. At this point there is very little I couldn't have, if I really wanted it...sometimes I get upset I can't eat the whole thing... and some stuff I thought I would miss I don't- like Pasta....

OK I have been MIA over here... just in major roller coaster funk over the kids leaving. My weight is in s high place and has been for a week... 171 today. Nobody would look at me and say she's gained weight, but I know it's not where I want to be. Struggling with the roller coaster of feelings. Did Skype with my grandkids last night and was the middle of the night there but they weren't sleeping because of the time change of course one of the first thing I'm at my grandson's mouth is when are you coming to visit?

Even though MFP says I am not overeating... sometimes it's about choices, my body likes the simple stuff.... too many recipes and faux carbs

QITD: right now I just take the job. Although it has been a question I've been debating how far my willing to go?

Food? I got grilled chicken and pork carnitas Greek yogurt and protein drinks .egg muffins..... do a combo of any and all of those.

Exercise? Yes. For noe that's all I got.

Hope that funk goes away soon, but I totally understand, as my step-daughter moved with her family to Japan for a 3 year assignment (Airforce)... not even sure where they'll end up when this one is done. It does get better... and thank goodness for things like Facebook Video messenger and Skype!

Morning guys!

I spent the night snoozing in the recliner....as much as I liked feeling like I was sleeping like a normal person again in a regular bed it was definitely not a restful sleep, so I've resigned myself to the recliner at least until the staples come out of the port incision (hopefully one week from today!). No fever for a couple of days now, woohoo! Take that you stupid infection! Last night my hubby took pity on me not being able to sit at my desk (because the position pulls the staples, ouch!) and brought me a loaner laptop so I can connect more easily to OH and various other things.

QOTD: I've done both kinds of commutes, and honestly I prefer a shorter commute.....I haaaated how much time we spent in the car when we lived in DC. We were only a few miles from where I worked but the commute took 1.5 hours each way. Ridiculous! We actually moved a couple years ago to make my hubby's commute easier....it went from 1.5 hours each way to just 30 minutes. Now we get to spend more time with him. My commute for the last several years has been walking down the stairs to the kitchen/office....I'd like to head back out into the working world at some point and I'm sure it will be an adjustment

MENU:

B: Protein Shake, Fairlife Milk

L: Ham,Egg,Cheese Sandwich

D: Veggie sub wrapped in lettuce

Have a great day all!

Kelsey
