What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

I am in a big old hurry this morning. My first meeting is at 7:45am. I need to be there early to prep for it, and I have a long commute to get there. I feel strongly that no one should ever feel like they are running late at 4:15am, no? I need more hours in the day.
QOTD: Let's play WOULD YOU RATHER! Would you rather have a super long and annoying commute to a perfect job or a short commute to a job you didn't like as much? I LOVE LOVE LOVE my job. It's truly the best work situation I have been in in over a decade. But the commute is killing my gentle soul. On a good day I spend 4 hours commuting. On a bad day...it is hell. I am considering putting my hat into the unknown, and trading my perfect job, for a perfect commute. Am I crazy?

Definitely a short commute, I can't imagine spending 4 plus hours a day traveling to and from work! that is at the least 20 hours a week, 80+ hours a month, almost 1000 hours a year!!! Absolutely not would I be doing that, but that's just me, I would rather be home than travelling.

Ah I never did the math before. Yikes! I wonder what I would do with 1000 extra hours?
Morning!
thats an interesting question. Your situation is tricky, because it sounds like you change locations a lot. For the perfect job, I would move to be closer. But that might not help you. As someone who has changed jobs a lot over the years, and owned my own business, working someplace that doesn't suck the life out of you, is really important and sometimes hard to find. I don't envy your dilemma.

i don't know what's up with me, but every day, the food I eat at work sits like a rock. I'm going to be extra mindful to see if I'm rushing, or if not chewing properly... I've never had this problem before. I know it's not over eating, because everything is pre portioned, and I'm not even finishing it. The egg cups I can understand because I find eggs hard sometimes, so I'll leave that out today and see how it goes.

Sometimes food just sits like a rock... I wish I knew why!
Sometimes it is definitely from not chewing or rushing but sometimes it's like the pouch is just "not in the mood".
