Calorie Questions
You are fine. I was up to 900 by month 4 and have held at about 950 since then, which works great for me, if I drop below 900 i stall. I have no desire or reason to up it and test the upper limit. I was physically ill below 850.
I am very active, but don't "work out", if I was doing heavy working out I probably would need to increase.

I never counted calories when losing, just protein and fluids. I didn't tally carbs for the day, but made sure individual items I was consuming weren't high carb or high calorie. Tried to stick by the rule there should be 1g of protein minimum for every 10 calories....
That being said I did what I call 'spot check' weeks on MFP where I would track to see where I was at. I would say I was between 550-750c a day at that point and for much of the first year. Never more than 50g carb. Calories will fluctuate based on choices. Fish vs. beef for example. Doesn't mean you shouldn't eat beef.
You have to know yourself and where your accountability lays. For me it was pre-planning my menu, and weighing my food and myself every day. Some people weighing everyday drives them over the edge... for me Tracking so specifically on something like MFP actually made me want to eat more, because I hadn't in my mind had enough calories.... old WW mentality of eat all your food so you lose more. LOL.
That being said now that I am in maintenance I use MFP much more frequently. Maybe not daily, but several times a week.
