nausea and burping

Hi all,

I've been having some problems with nausea and burping lately. Was put on Nexium for 10 days and symptoms resolved by the time I saw my doctor. Symptoms have now returned and are worse than they were. I have a call in to the MD, just waiting for them to call back. Just curious if any of you have experienced this. Yucky feeling.

I haven't had any of the nausea/belching issues, but it does sound like maybe you're having some acid issues. Have you called your surgeon? Hopefully, you can get some answers soon.

Sure did, don't want to mess around with a potential ulcer. She called in a prescription for Protonix which is what I had post op. Thanks.

Any other pain? I had both of those along with other pain when I was having a gallbladder attack.

That crossed my mind but didn't have any other symptoms so hopefully the Actigall I've been taking since surgery is doing what it's supposed to be doing. Thanks.

I have not had it as a combo, but I belch impressively when I eat too many carbs. Yesterday was a crazy belching day. Neaseau hasn't followed me in a while- but I always traced back to high fats foods.

Thanks Peach - I think the nausea was due to bratwurst - ugh. Much better now. I'll have to see about the carbs/belching relationship. My post-bypass life as a research project!
