What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
QOTD: Just thought of another piece of playground equipment that I used to love, but doubt is allowed today. I loved the Monkey Bars. Climbing and dangling upside down. Looking back, pretty dangerous especially since it was on concrete.

About 20 degrees cooler today here than it was yesterday. Yesterday morning was 54 when we walked and today was 35. Lily and I got our 3.2 miles in already today. QOTD favorites were tetherball and freeze tag. Post op 4 years 6.75 months and weight at 117.4 today. Here's the food for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 1/2 c shrimp salad 1/2 c diced tomatoes D 31/2 oz salmon burger 1/2 c Tuscan blend veggies S mission one chocolate chip cookie protein bar. Have a great day everyone and make some smart and conscious choices that move you one step closer to your goal!
Staying on liquids an extra week sort of sucks, especially since I know I got soooooo sick of sweet drinks! Try Unjury chicken soup flavor protein powder (make sure to mix it with warm water, not hot, to avoid clumping) and I also made my own chicken broth with bullion and added Isopure unflavored protein powder - it made it so much more palatable! In the scheme of things, one more week isn't too long - you're doing great! Good luck!
Good Morning Grimberry and Menu Family!
QOTD: My favorite playground equipment was and still is the swings. You can still find me swinging on the park swings occasionally. I love going really high and that feeling in my stomach. My favorite group game that we played with the neighborhood kids was Kick the Can.
B: bacon & spinach egg frittata
L: stuffed peppers
D: chili cheese dog
S: light n fit Greek yogurt
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks
Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision
Have a FANTASTIC day everyone!

I think it's awesome that you still go on the swings. I can't tell you the last time I did. Hmmm, might be worth a try!

I have never heard of television tag! I remember lots of 4 square, and lots of jump roping type games, hopscotch...back in the day, my elementary school didn't even have a playground. We had two parking lots, boys would have recess on one and girls on the other, lol.
I am feeling so much better, already, energy-wise, for being back on plan. And much less graze-y. It really does make a difference, those carbs...not just in weight loss, but in how I feel overall. Somebody tattoo that on my forehead.
Food today...
Breakfast- Two eggs with salsa
Lunch- Leftover chicken breast and zucchini from last night
Snack- tea, protein bar
Dinner- Making something carb-y for the hubs and kids tonight, but I pulled out a bit of frozen beef roast out of the freezer for me. Will have with cabbage slaw-ish/salad.
