Not feeling well (cramps) and really missing advil
Nothing more than a small pity party. Having first bad 'time of the month' since surgery and really missing advil. Tylenol does squat (but I knew that before surgery, that acetaminophen does little for me)
Crampy and grumpy at work :(
Surgery isn't the 'easy way out' that many nay sayers make it out to be.

I have a ho****er bottle at home. But my apt is always so hot (top floor of an apt) like 82+F. Even with the heat off and the windows open! I should try again tonight maybe with the balcony door open :)

For what it's worth, I found that my cramps improved a lot with weight loss and a lifestyle that includes exercise most days.

Mine got easier over all as I got older and fatter LOL! They have gotten worse anytime I have lost weight previously. I was hoping.. as my last two were annoyingly long but not bad that post surgery they would be better.
HAHAHA says my uterus.

I ended up having an ablation because mine were so bad after WLS. I was the opposite of Gwen! You could try Tramadol. You need an rx for it though. Otherwise I can suggest heating pad, hot showers, and tylenol.

My periods had gotten worse over the years, debilitating...so heavy, crampy and miserable. A few months before surgery I had the Mirena put in. What a difference, it's almost nothing now and I am so happy I did it.
I used to take Advil for everything especially periods, almost daily and multiple times a day. I miss it because it worked so well. Tylenol is worthless to me.
I hope you feel better.
